she closed her eyes with a sad sigh

"what's wrong my cat?" he asked softly, eyes bright green as well as his hair in the light of the room

¨I Missed you¨ she said.

“I’ve been here the whole time my love,” He murmured softly

¨Really?¨ she sajd

“Well besides a few minutes ago, yes.” He said softly, stroking her hair

" everything seems distant" she said

"That's probably the drugs from last night. That means they're working." he kissed her head and shut his eyes for a bit, focusing on her breathing

" even you, you seem distant" she said

"how so?" he asked softly, keeping his eyes shut

" just a feeling" she said

He hummed softly "We havn't really been our normal selves for a while now." he said

She nodded ¨We really Haven´t ¨ she agreed ¨Do you Love me?¨she asked

"More than anything in this world, save for my family and our kids." He opened his eyes and gazed at her, stroking her cheek. "Do you've me? I know i can be lot sometimes."

"of course I love you Brink you're the light to my darkness I hate it when we fight and when you turn away from me like when you're mad at me I don't know I just feel unloved unappreciated worthless and I know I shouldn't feel that way because your life shouldn't revolve around a guy but it does it really does I always try to look my best for you because I'm always scared of what you think about me' she said

he shifted so that she was onto of him. "what I think of you?" he echoed. "my cat, you're the most beautiful thing in Gotham, hell, in the world. It doesn't matter if you look like a mess or a goddess, i will alway's think of you as the latter. As for when we fight, I don't mean to make you feel that way, I truly don't but I know if I don't take a breather I'll say something I'll regret and make the situation worse. The last thing I want to do is hurt you in any way."

"it's nothing I'm not used to" she said

He frowned slightly and shook his head "It shouldn't be something you're used around your family." he kissed her head and tucked her safely against his chest.

She buried herself in his chest "when did you start to realize you had feelings for me' she asked

He thought for a moment with a small smile "I think it was when i hacked your phone so your mom wouldn't find us on our first outing together. When mom and dad finally let us go out together without Jax as a supervisor."

She smiled "you liked me that soon" she asked

He blushed, glad that the darkness of the room hid his embarrassment and nodded "yeah, I did, still do."

" I thought you loved me' she asked

He chuckled softly "More than you will ever know my kitten." he murmured, tilting her chin up gently and kissing her lips

She kissed him back gently

He pulled away slightly and traced her lips with his fingertips "I'm going to get the medications okay? or do you want to come with?"

she shook her head ¨i´ll stay¨¨

“Okay, I’ll be right back with the meds.” He shifted out of bed and wrapped her in the blankets, kissing her head. He went downstairs and into the kitchen to prepared the mess with some sugar water

Vanessa closed her eyes missing his warmth

Brink came back shorty with the glass of water and some chocolate they hid away from both Jacklynn and Jester. He sat at the edge of the bed and handed Ness the water mixed with the meds and sugar to help ease it down.
