"Oh my god. I'm so sorry. I swear to god, I'm so sorry, oh my god…" Zach squeezed his eyes shut and opened them again in a panic.

Felix felt really bad for him. His mind choose to ignore the dangers for a second as he walked over to Zach. ”Hey, calm down, it’s okay.” He didn’t really think things through when he laid a hand on the other boys shoulder. ”It’s okay, really. You are not the only one who is different here, I know what it’s like.”

Fuck. Felix regretted his words as soon as they left his mouth. He had never mentioned that to anyone, ever. Telling a stranger in a hotel that just turned out to be a werewolf? Not very genius. He quickly backed off.

"No, no, you're fine. Thank you." Zach took in a mouthful of air. "You're the first person in around twelve years that knows I'm a werewolf. God, I'm sorry…" He brushed away some more hair from his face. "If my parents knew they'd kill me."

Felix suddenly realised how freaking close he was to Zach. His step back hadn’t really made any difference to the distance between them. Without really thinking about what he was doing he raised his hand to Zach’s face and stroke away a curl. His hair was so… soft. Like a freaking cloud. ”It’s okay,” he repeated.

"Thank you…you won't t-tell anyone will you? My mom is still looking for me and…" Unlike Felix, Zach seemed to relax more as Felix touched his hair.

”No, I won’t.” Felix blushed and took a step back, shoved his hands into his pockets and looked down to the ground. ”Believe me, you are not the only one with a secret here.” For some reason he felt like he could trust this boy. Zach’s life seemed just as messy as his own, and it calmed him down a bit. Maybe opening up to people wasn’t so bad after all.

"Thank you. So much." Zach felt a blush crawling up his cheeks as he stared at Felix. God, he is pretty.

Felix tried a smile. ”Sure. No problem. But… you’re gonna have to tell me some more about this. I didn’t think werewolves existed anymore.” He walked over to the microwave and took the chicken out of it. ”Maybe we could talk about it over dinner?” He felt brave right now, and he didn’t know why.

"Yeah. Yeah. That sounds good." Zach gave in, running his freckled arm through his hair. "I'll try and find some plates somewhere." He was still shaking a little, but Felix had calmed him down enough.

Felix only gave him a smile and sat down on the bed. He observed Zach as he tried to find plates. Like, wow. The guy was really attractive. Just looking at him made Felix smile a bit. A thought came to mind. Something Zach said earlier… about the marriage. That he was gay. The realisation hit Felix like a truck, and he felt his heart starting to pound like crazy again. Omg omg he’s gay what the freak am I gonna do he’s gay I’m gay this could actually happen omgggggg

Zach eventually pulled some paper plates from the top shelf, his shirt hitching up just a bit as he did so. Turning to face Felix, he gave him a lopsided smile. "They're paper, but kind of what I expected. Anyway." He put some chicken on one plate and more on another, bringing one to Felix. "There."

”Thanks,” Felix said slowly. His brain was a bit off. When Zach’s shirt slid up like that, revealing his abs…. DAMN.

"So, um…" Zach began, sitting down across from him. "About the whole werewolf thing."

”Yeah. About that. When…?” Felix wasn’t entirely sure on how to finish that sentence. When did you become a werewolf? When did you realise you were gay? How is it even possible for you to be so freaking hot?

"I was 12. It was the first full moon in a while and I heard a weird noise outside, so out I went and boom. Werewolf. I don't know why - my parents hate halfbloods, so I don't see how they could be werewolves either. It's weird." He shrugged.

(”and boom” lol)

”Yeah… strange.” For a second, Felix wanted to tell Zach about his own secret. But most people seemed to be intimidated when hearing about someone being a mindreader. Understandable. They didn’t deem to understand the entire password-of-trust-thing. He didn’t want that to happen in this case. He liked Zach, and he really didn’t wanna scare him away the first time they met. But… there was still something that he could tell him about. ”You know… I’m gay too,” he said, his heart pounding and his face blushing.

“Really?” Zach smiled and immediately blushed. Jesusfreamjngchrjstsomethingcouldhappen

”Yup.” Felix looked away awkwardly. Smooth freaking move. Who the hell just tells someone they are gay like that?

“No, no, it’s fine, I just…no, it’s fine.” Zach shook his head, mostly to himself. He might like me. I mean, who just tells someone they’re gay? He was slowly starting to trust Felix, especially after he’d turned.

Suddenly Felix heard a voice in his head. It was weak, and it somehow sounded like Zach, but just a little different. ”…who just tells someone they are gay,” the voice said.

Felix froze. He felt like he would panic any second. Zach started to trust him. No, that’s impossible. No one ever trusted Felix that easily. And what was it that Zach thought? Felix realised he had messed up again, completely. He should never had told Zach that, it was stupid. He looked away when he realised that he was staring at Zach. Felix started to fidget with the buttons of his leatherjacket. He hadn’t taken it off yet, even if they had been inside for a long while now. And he felt like he should probably leave, so there was no idea of taking it off now. He just sat there with the jacket on like a fool.

Zach tilted his head awkwardly, not knowing what to say. “So, um…” Crap. This is awkward.

”…awkward.”

Felix took a quick bite of his chicken. ”You know, I should probably leave. I mean, I just came to give you the keys.” He got up from the bed, wanted to leave but also wanted to stay.

Crap. I don’t want him to leave. Crap. “No, it’s fine. You can stay for a while.”

”…crap,” Felix heard the voice say. Yeah, really good point, Zach. He sat down on the bed again. ”Okay. But… only for a while. I need to get up early tomorrow to continue travelling.” Felix got sad thinking that he might never see this gorgeous boy ever again after tonight.

“Okay. That’s fine.” Shoot…he’s really pretty. Zach sighed and looked up. “Thank you. Again.”

The voice that was Zach said something. Felix had to bite his lip not to smile like a maniac when he heard what it was.

”…he’s really pretty.”
