”Yeah.” Felix kept staring down at his feet. He hated talking to people, and especially this guy. Zach, as his name aparently was, hadn’t in any way done anything wrong. He was just… Felix didn’t even know how to explain him. ”I mean, no. It’s okay. It’s fine. I’m Felix.” Fuck. Why did he tell Zach his name? It seemed like the reasonable thing to do, but… still. He would never meet this guy again. He didn’t need to tell him his name. He probably wasn’t even interested in hearing it anyways.
"Thanks, Felix. For the keys." Zach started, realizing something. "Hang on, I can get you a little money or something…" He went back inside, leaving the door open. "You can come on in, it won't be long. A five or something should do it."
Felix hesitated. He really wasn’t good with people, and he didn’t wanna mess this up more than he already had. This guy seemed nice. But… being friends with Felix often somehow ended up bad for everyone involved. Maybe he should just leave? It would probably be the best. But before he could even turn around, he found himself taking another step into the room. ”Thanks,” he heard himself say, ”but that’s not necessary. Honestly, it’s fine.”
"Are you sure?" Zach popped up from behind the counter, brushing some dull brown fringe out of his face. "It won't be any trouble for me." Hey. He's kinda pretty, actually.
Felix couldn’t help but biting his lip. Damn. The way Zach pushed his hair away… it was hot. ”No, it’s fine,” he mumbled once again. He couldn’t stop looking at the other guys hair, for some reason. It was so… fluffy. Like, incredibly fluffy. He felt a sudden urge to touch it, but resisted. ”I should probably go.” He made no effort of leaving. I don’t want to go.

"No, no, you're fine. If you don't want money I can get you something else. Like, um, food." He offered, ducking behind the counter again to hide his blush. Felix was pretty hot when he bit his lip. Also, his eyes. Shoot.

Food. Food… with Zach? He could imagine himself doing that. Having dinner with Zach. It wasn’t like he had any plans for the night anyways. He would probably spend the rest of the night in bed with a bag of doritos or something like that. ”Yeah,” he heard himself say. ”Food would be nice.”

"Okay, great. Um…I have some orange chicken from this Chinese place if that's okay? It's really not that good but I can heat it up…" He offered, appearing back up again and brushing stray hair out of his face. It was always getting everywhere, but it's not like he could cut it, because then his werewolf fur would look weird.
”Yeah, yeah, that seems great…” Felix stared like hypnotised at Zachs hand moving through his hair. His hands were so nice too. Was there anything about this boy that wasn’t in some way cute or hot or just perfect in general? He wasn’t sure.
What the hell? What am I thinking? Suddenly he snapped out of it. He was on the run. He wasn’t supposed to be flirting with cute guys. It was literally his love for cute guys that put him here in the first place. He would eat the food, thank Zach, and then go. I’m only staying for the food, he told himself.

"Okay. Hang on a second, it won't be long. I hope. You never know with these hotels." Zach disclaimed, then stuck the chicken into the microwave and set it for two minutes, his fingernails scraping the side of the metal. "Ack. Sorry, bad sound, I know."
”Yeah. Hopefully.” Felix decided to keep it short. This was not for pleasure. It was entirely for the fact that chicken probably contained more nutritions than a bag of doritos. He awkwardly sat down on the bed. ”So, um, what brings you here to this fine hotel?” He couldn’t help but wonder. It wasn’t that usual with teens living alone at hotels without any parents. He himself had a reason to do it, but Zach? He didn’t know, and he was curious.
Zach laughed a little - a short, wolfish laugh. "Not exactly fine, I'd say. I, uh, ran away. Trying to keep it somewhat on the low-low."
Felix’s heart skipped a beat. Ran away? That seemed creepily similar to his own situation, and the new info only made him even more curious. ”What did you run away from?” He knew this was risky. If he asked Zach about him, he would probably have to answer some questions about himself as well. But… Zach didn’t trust him yet. Meaning that he couldn’t read his mind. And he really, really wanted to know.
"Oh…things. Specifically marriage. A forced one." Zach took the chicken out of the microwave right before it beeped, a habit of his. "Not exactly nice stuff, but the second I told my parents I was gay, it was like boom. They had someone."
Felix froze. This couldn’t possibly be true. The guy had to be joking, or something. He got up from the bed. Suddenly, he was on his guard. This could not be a coincidence. He put his hand in the pocket of his leatherjacket, felt the familiar feeling of the cold metall against his hand. ”Oh really?” He took a step back. ”That’s… interesting.” Suddenly he didn’t feel like staying there, not even for the food.

"Yeah…are you okay?" Zach looked up at Felix with wide hazel eyes. Don't change now. This isn't even that stressful, you're just confused, don't turn…

”Mhm. Definetly.” Not at all. Felix noticed how the boy got more and more stressed as the seconds passed. All his intuitions told him to run, but… something made him stay. He couldn’t leave without finding out more. The situation was way too alike with his own, and it freaked him out and just as much as it made him curious.
Don't you dare do it. Not in front of Felix, not here, my god, it isn't even that stressful. Zach shook his head at himself, but not before he took the form of a wolf.
Well, shoot.
His wolf form was the same color and texture as his hair - a fluffy, dullish light brown - but it had darker brown streaks running through it, with the same hazel eyes. He froze where he was - maybe if Felix didn't look for him or hear anything, he wouldn't even know. But ah, that was too much to hope for. He was a larger wolf, anyway.
Felix turned his head to look at Zach, but the guy was gone. Instead, a huge wolf stood on the carpet. Felix’s eyes widdened as he stumbled backwards. ”Fuck!” He screamed. A pretty reasonable response, as he thought of it later. The wall hit his back as he tried to get the hell away from the wolf. The door was locked and in his panic he didn’t think of trying to unlock it. what the fuck what the even what is happening what am I gonna do
Zach whined and lowered his head to show he meant no harm, backing up a little bit. He needed to be relaxed to change back, and this wasn't exactly a relaxing situation.
Felix was breathing superficially. A werewolf. He didn’t even know those excisted anymore. He looked at the wolf, no, he looked at Zach. He didn’t know what would be a proper reaction to this scenario. Dude, you are a werewolf. No shit.
But Zach didn’t seem to wanna harm him. Felix kept his distance and swallowed slowly. ”What. The. Fuck.”

Zach sat down and rested his big fluffy head on his paws, the gray ribbon still tied around his paw. He didn't know what else to do so he thought he would just calm down until he could change back. If Felix didn't start freaking out again.
(I feel like I should probably go to sleep now tho… it’s past 4 am over here and it’s already getting lighter outside… Even tho it’s weekend I still need to be able to wake up before noon tomorrow lol. So… bye for now!)

Felix’s heart pounded as he carefully took one small step closer. He shouldn’t be this surprised. He had heard about werewolves before. That they still existed. Not from people, but from peoples thoughts. He bent down so that he sat in front of the wolf and looked into it’s eyes. The eyes… they were definetly Zach’s.
Felix got up and took a few step back. ”So… do you need me to turn around, or what?” He felt strangely calm talking to the wolf, calmer than he felt when talking to Zach in human shape.

Zach lifted his head from his paws and shook it, the fur bouncing slightly. Okay, okay, you're getting there. Just a couple deep breaths.
Felix waited. He had no idea about what was going to happen. Or what Zach would be like when he turned back. He had watched Twilight, and there the werewolves didn’t transform with their… clothes. He swallowed and blushed from the thought. He had a feeling that the experience would be awkward for the both of them no matter what happened.
Zach whined in a slightly high pitch, trying to tell him, don't freak out, and then with a slight ruffling noise he was a human again, backing up shakily against the wall with wide eyes. (He has his clothes on lol)
Felix watched as Zach turned human again. He kept his distance, observed as the other boy pressed himself against the wall. Felix’s heart was still pounding like hell. He fidgeted his knife and was ready to pull it out any second if neccesary. ”You have some explaining to do, my friend,” he said as Zach seemed to calm down a bit.
