Yeah same. I mean, I can help with anything other than animating

Okay, so just a suggestion, but can we have a group of people to create a sort of comic like rough draft for the animators? Like, just sketch out scenes and submit them so that the animators have a quick reference for what's going on in that scene. Like a comic, basically. I'm just saying that it would be easier for the animators if they didn't have to constantly flit back and forth looking for what the characters or wearing, or what type of injuries they may have sustained. That job can be fore the people doing the comic rough draft version. Idk. Just a suggestion, but of course my opinion isn't quite valid yet seeing as I just barely joined this chat. And it would be a job separate from animating, for those of us who can draw, but not animate quickly or effectively.
I think that's what they meant by storyboarding, just making a loose, unfinished comic-like version so the animators have a reference to use
Alright. I just wanted to check if that was what they were doing, not just creating a book like version of the rp. Although that would be useful for scripters.
I just found a really old reference image for Eli that I might redraw if we're definitely doing scenes from The Circus
Storyboarding is like a comic, and animatic is the same but timing it with audio. References and concept art are also made to help animators and storyboarders stick to the character design.
Um, also, should we have all the voice actors send in little clips of them speaking, so we can cast them?
^^^
Also, should we send in character references before casting? Just so we can see if the voice fits the character?
I mean…I'm sick so my voice is kinda messed up but I could try. How do I link a document to a post?
I don't think you can do a file directly from your computer, but that'd be cool if we could. You have to do a google doc or something and copy the page address.
Also can the voice actors get like a sample of something to read like a monologue or bits of dialogue from the RP?
Can I like
voice act and stuff
I can sing too
Yep just sign up on the doc
Which one though? I see one for animation but I'm not sure if that's the right one.
Down at the bottom there should be a voice acting section.
Okay thanks!
Alright, I'm all signed up for voice acting lolllllllllllllll
I can do some swell childish voices as well as sing pretty well in my humble opinion
There is one character in The Circus that sings, but I don't know if that scene will be animated
Ah that's fine I'm sure. But if we were ever to turn it into a full blown tv series thing, we'd need an intro and perhaps some singing, so theres that. Or just for background. I dunno.
Also, who here is in charge of casting?
I don't know but like I said I think I would be good for a character on the younger side.
I don't think there are any main characters that are super young, just from looking at the first few character descriptions, but we could have you be a kid in the crowd or sumin.
I mean, I can do adult voices, but considering I'm also young we could have a teen or a young adult here.
My sister The Anime Addict can help with the voice acting… can’t tag her since her user is deleted.
Yeah. So I think we have a lot of people willing to voice act, we just need a way for everyone to submit a recording of themselves speaking lines. I can quickly scan through and find a place with some dialogue so people can do lines and stuff, if y'all want.
Yeah, that sounds cool.
Sounds great! Would I record it on video and through google docs?
Alright so I was thinking about doing storyboarding but I think I might have to sit this one out bc of some family issues and workload. For now, I’ll take my name off the list and just keep following this discussion so I can find it later.

Usually I just look up "voice recorder" on Google, save that recording, then put the link to the recording on a doc and share it
I might be able to create an audition form for everyone. 🤷♀️
