And just so I know, who here is in charge of this? Like, who do we want to judge and choose who does who? Because I need to know so I can talk to them about it.

I've never officially been a voice actor before, but I've played many roles in countless plays and musicals, and my vocal range is that of Christine from Phantom of the Opera. I can manipulate my voice to sound like a child, an adult, or a gender neutral teen. My best accents are Southern American, French, or British. I can always learn more if I'm needed to fill a certain role.

And since I've never officially voice acted before, I'm not entirely sure how to record myself, especially since I am without a working computer at the moment.

Alright. I'll see how many people I can get to help me pick and choose roles. I will likely enlist the help of Altogether Quite Impossible to Describe, and PuffPoff. These two because they were two characters in it and Altogether Quite Impossible to Describe is the initial creator of Circus. If anyone else here was a part of the rp, I'd like you to tell me so I can know who to contact when casting. I mean, the creators of characters should have the liberty to choose who fits the role.
Anywho. Here's the link.
Let me know if I am missing anyone. I went like halfway through looking for new characters that pop up, but I couldn't find any. Although I did find an incredibly adorable scene, and I was squealing like a baby pig. And then I found a not so adorable scene, and kinda wanted to throw something at the fricken ringmaster.

That's basically the rp in a nutshell

You can record your voice on your phone but the file is near impossible to upload if you are working on a computer. Audacity is a free app for PC and Mac and I find it fairly straight-forward. That's what I'm going to use.

@soupnana group

Oh I also forgot to add that if you are auditioning for the part of Eleanore, you can sing a little if you want, seeing as she does sing. You don't gotta, but you can.

@PuffPoff

Once I find them, I have some old drawings of Elliot and Ana that might be useful for the animators

I currently have neither a working Mac or PC in general so I'm just going to try multiple different apps on my phone and see which works xD

Recommendations for Samsung would be great though.

I use Easy Voice Recorder on my phone, but I've never shared a recording from it so I'm not sure how that aspect of the app is.

Np.
Also, I just wanna say how cool it is that all of y'all are willing to do this with no reward other than for the fun of it and being able to say you did something amazing with the fellow people of Notebook. I know that most people would expect payment for so much work and effort put into animating something or doing voice acting. I respec' y'all.

I saw this post… sounds cool, but I'm not very skilled in animation and the most I can do is either something super basic like a person blinking or an animatic. But I can do voice acting pretty well, idk. May I see if I could partake? My schedule is hell and I probably won't be able to do much for this but I'd like to see if I could maybe have a minor part to play here? You don't have to accept me if you think it won't work out, and again, busy schedule and shit that makes it nigh impossible to actually do any of this, but I could try?

@soupnana group

You forgot Alice in the chracayers6

Okay. But quick question, when does she show up? Because I was looking through it and checking for new characters, but I never saw any and I was like halfway through.

If you like doing animatics, you could always join the storyboard team!

Her first appearance is page 56, I believe

Okay, so is there going to be a narrator for certain thoughts? I know that if we put it in thought bubbles, it might look a bit sloppy.

If there's a narrator, sign me up.

@amber_is_in_a_loop

I would honestly say, without meaning to be insulting or anything, that it would depend on the voice actors' skill. If they act well enough to portray all necessary emotions to work with the drawn expressions, then it isn't necessary. But if we need an extra layer of emotion, then we could go for narrators.
