"No need to tell me," Res assured kindly. "but I could help. I grew up with this." She wiggled her fingers, which turned to moss.

His eyebrows raised. "That's actually kinda cool. Way prettier than mine at least. I don't really know if you could help, but.."
Res laughed lightly, her hand turning back to normal. "It's not about pretty here, don't worry your pretty little head about how you look."
"It's not really about what I look like. It'sā¦" He breathed in. "A bit ago, I spat out a." He stopped short. "I actually have no idea what it was. It was small and black and covered in something green and it had a lot of legs. And it was alive. It went down the drain." He shuddered. "I think I sort of made it."
Res sat up straighter up. "That's definitely strange," she muttered pensively. "Sounds like it's the first time it's happened?"
"Yeah," he said brusquely, looking down. "I've seen weirder shit, though. I found a kid who had fog pouring out of his ears and mouth and nose and it was cold and it knocked you unconscious because you couldn't breathe in it."
(now i'm just taking stuff right out of my story kjgnjkr)
Res raised her eyebrows in scared surprise "Oh," she answered. Eric seemed agitated, so she opted to stop talking. Instead she turned to her suitcase Ava started unpacking.
Eric looked at her, studying her features. "What do you think we'll be doing here?"
Res lay back on her bed, hugging a bundle of clothes. "Well, learn to control our powers. Maybe even enough to live normally with them," she mused.
(sry i was gone all day bc of some stupid track and field thing)
Eric barked a short laugh. "Yeah, it really would be nice if my saliva didn't turn to poison every two seconds and i didn't have weird, frog-lookin' things forming in my insides."
(hey did this die where's everyone else)
(I'm dead-I mean, I'm here.)
(m00d. k no cuz it seems to just be eric and res lately and i rlly liked y'all's characters i would've been sad if anybody quit. also u can randomly interject in our convo w snippets of what ur character is doing at the same time)
(Nah, my dudes in his room.)
(Oof yeah same.)
(ok let's just make everyone go to class so they can meet)
(oof sorry I've got mocks rn so I'm irregularly on. As for going to class sound good)
(kk)
"Attention students," a voice blared from the hallway speakers. "Look at your schedules and head to the classroom assigned to you. They are all in the great hall."
Eric sighed and stood up. "Alright, let's go, I guess."
Res got to her feet and, dusting herself off, followed Eric out the door. "What class are you in now?" she questioned, pulling her own timetable out.
He looked down at the piece of paper. He'd been ripping its edges for the past half an hour. Squinting, he read it, then answered, "23?"
Agis slipped out of his room, so far he didn't think he was roomed with anyone, but he was sure some people hadn't arrived yet.
Vanca sighed, hoping she'd have had an opportunity to meet her roommate before class. She slithered out of her dorm to find her first class. Wondering what it'd be on. Moster history? If that was even a class here.
Res got to the classroom just as a half-girl, half-snake slithered past her.
She stopped in her tracks, barely biting back a surprised cry.
Quickly regaining composure, she waved cheerfully. "Hi there!"
Eric's eyes widened at the powerful tail that suddenly shot past him through the hall.
"Um, hello." Vanca looked to the girl who'd spoken to her. She hadn't really expected anyone to talk to her. Let alone look surprised. This was, after all, a school for monsters. So she wasn't the weirdest one around.
Agis walked past the three students and into the room, he had no wish for such trivial matters such as conversations. He sat down in one of the seats, looking over every student and classifying them.

"I'm Terese, but you can call me Res," she said amiably, sticking out a hand to shake the stranger's. "And you would be?"
"Vanca." She shook the strangers-Res' hand, and offered a small if not awkward smile. After all she was a bit weird around people-monsters- she didn't quiet know.
Eric remained quiet while the two became aquainted, awkwardly looking around and studying the walls.
