"Not everything they serve is spicy, just when Lindsy is the waitress. She has a weird idea that spice makes the food stand out more." he shook his head

Scarlett laughed and nodded, “It does, she’s very right.” She rested her head on his shoulder and smiled, “I’m liking Lindsey even more now, she’s awesome.”

He nodded "My cousin's the greatest, A little snarky but pretty great. and no, no it doesn't. it just burns you're mouth."

“Have you ever forgotten any of the spicy dishes you’ve eaten?” She asked, starring to trace patterns on his back absentmindedly.

"they all taste the same to me so no not really." He glanced down at her and smiled "that tickles."

“See? Then spice does make the food stand out.” She replied, giggling lightly and tracing more patterns, “You mean this?”

He nodded "mhm, and no, it just burns." He argued lightly

She shrugged, slowly stopping tracing patterns on his back, “I don’t think it just burns, spicy food is too complex and there are too many flavors.”

"I've never seen it that way. Why'd you stop?" Jasper asked with a smile,

“Cuz you said it tickled and I assumed you didn’t want me to continue,” She replied, tracing patterns on his back again.

"in a good way." He said, leaning into her.

“You should’ve included that part,” She joked, kissing his cheek and continuing to make random patterns on his back.

He laughed softly and nodded "sorry," he nudged into her touch

“So, what do you want to do with the rest of the day until we have to go to the studio?” She asked, looking around at her apartment.

"any interesting movies you want to see?" He asked "maybe a concert at the park or something?"

She thought for a moment, “Are there any good movies out?”

He shrugged "probably, there's a few horror, and a romance….and that's it."

“Well, I’m not a terribly big fan of horror movies, the romance one sounds good though,” she replied with a smile.

He nodded "I'll book tickets for….6ish? Is that good?" He asked, glancing at her

She nodded, “Six sounds good, as long as it’s alright with you as well.”

He nodded "yeah, I get out around 5 so it should be ok."

Scarlett smiled and snuggled closer to him, closing her eyes lightly and continuing to trace patterns on his back, “Alright then, we’re going to a movie later.”

"mhm, still tired Scar?" He asked, glanced down at her and carressing her cheek

“Not so much tired as bored but not wanting to get up,” She replied, “Plus, you’re comfy.”

He smiled and kissed her head "start singing a song then."

She sighed and went silent for a moment as she chose a song, smiling when she got one in her mind, “I was scared of dentists and the dark.”

Jasper smiled knowingly and sang along with her "I was scared of pretty girls and starting conversation."

“All my friends are turning green,” She sang, opening her eyes and fiddling with the hem of his shirt, “You’re the magicians assistant in their dreams.”

He glanced her and raised an eyebrow "ahhhooooo oooo ooooo and they come unstuck."

She shrugged when she met his eyes and continued singing, “Lady, runnin’ down to the riptide, make her way to the dark side, I wanna be your left hand man.”
