“Ah, thank you for the information” the machined arm of the figure moved to the front of them as they bowed. When they stood up straight, they had realized something.
“Oh my apologies, I haven’t introduced myself just yet…” the figure dusted their shoulder. “My name is Sebastian Autumn and I am the host of Machined Body… obviously” the figure smirked a little at the end.
Hinata nodded.
"I am Hinata Hayashi." She stood and bowed.
The machine side’s eye of the figure flashed again.
“It has been brought to my attention that you are the famous Balance Keeper, is that correct?”
Loki put her thumb on the rose
"You can call me any of the names I just gave you. I will respond to any of them," Tolkalee decided. "Though most of the people here are calling me by my most common one, Tolkalee."
"Well, I wouldn't say famous, but yeah, that's me." Hinata gave a weak smile. Was she really that well known?
The rose symbols didn’t react to the touch. The locked medical kit shook a little when the postcard was found.
(Remind you that the lock needed a four digit code and there were four types of flowers of different numbers on the postcard)
The suited figure nodded.
“Where are you going by the way?” They asked.
The machined figure looked surprised.
“It is such a great honor to meet you. I’ve heard of you since I’ve been here, which is approximately twenty years now” the figure said in a happy tone… something was missing. The Celestial Entity seemed to have left the Arena.
Loki tried the first letter of each flower for the code
Hinata blushed slightly. She looked away shyly, and that was when she noticed the Celestial Entity was gone. She didn't mention it, though.
The lock didn’t have alphabets on it, the code was a number code.
“That… reminds me… may I ask why you are here madam. In the legends, you’re often referred to as one that can’t die so… how did you come here?” the machined figure asked.
"Well, I came to see my parents." Hinata put her hands in her pocket. Legends? She was flabbergasted.
“Ah, family reunion. Even people like you have those moments huh?” Sebastian asked with a soft smile.
"Well, I have to go find my allies again," Tolkalee sighed. "It was nice talking with you." He waved and turned to leave.
"Yeah." She smiled. It had been eons since she had seen them last.
The suited figure in front of Tolkalee.
“Do a favor for me. If you do end up finding a Paladin in full light blue Knight armor, tell him I say hi” he said before walking in the opposite direction of Tolkalee, playing his lyre as he did.
Sebastian looked over Hinata’s shoulder to see Gavin spinning in the middle of the Arena with the teddy bear still up to his face.
“That boy seems quite happy with himself” the figure giggled.
"Will do," Tolkalee said over his shoulder. He followed the hallway heading the direction he'd come from, but not going back to the arena.
"Yes, he does." Hinata smiled. She enjoyed seeing children happy with themselves; no child deserved less.
Sebastian sighed a little.
“It’s still hardly believable that we’re in the same generation of Knights, the next one” he laughed at himself saying that.
"So, how does that work? How can you both be in the same generation?"
“From what I know, they choose Knights based on when they arrive in the Labyrinth. Those who come down here within the same period of time are candidates. Chosen again, based on abilities and we both passed so here we are… of course, there are ten other people who passed just like us and are waiting for their time to work as well. For whatever reason, since we came down here, we haven’t aged at all” Sebastian answered, looking at his human-side arm.
"I see." Hinata pushed it far from her mind that everyone who lives in the Labyrinth was dead, including the children.
"That makes a lot of sense."
“Regarding the children, there is this Graduation Ceremony we all must go through. I think it’s… Clark, the master of Anatomy Puppeteer, he’s the one who’ll take care of the process. It’s basically making the physical age and mental age of every Knight in the new generation equal or close to each other. The usual change range is to early twenties to early thirties” the machined figure added.
Something had clicked in Loki's mind she grabbed a piece of paper and wrote down the old keyboard of a flip phone 1:abc 2:def 3:ghi 4:jkl 5:mno 6:pqr 7:stu 8:vwx 9:yz "I think i know the code"
Hinata nodded.
"It would be hard if one of the Knight's was a little kid." She cracked a smile, imaging a little kid trying to act all big and tough.
(I-I… I’ll repeat it again…)
The postcard had flowers on it. The flowers included 3 roses, 7 lavenders, 5 jasmines and 9 sunflowers all arranged from left to right.
“No no no, you can’t take a cinnamon roll and cover it in some metal gear, that’s illegal in my book” Sebastian laughed at his thought.
