Hinata fell into her natural fighting position, summoning one of her Companion Souls as a sword.
Hinata fell into her natural fighting position, summoning one of her Companion Souls as a sword.
As Adara said that, the armor bursted itself into many different pieces and started a reformation. When the reformation was complete, the inscription was left behind.
The Aquarius Uniform had some parts extra compared to the Uniform Cassius and Hinata wore. It had a small cannon on its left shoulder, came with a staff and instead of a normal cape, what was shown behind the Uniform represented rivers if anything. The rivers moved with every step the figure took.
Cassius started to get annoyed by this man’s actions.
“Reveal yourself why won’t you?!” He shouted, knowing well that his voice will be slightly distorted by the helm he was wearing.
The Aquarius Uniformed warrior came to a pause when Cassius shouted.
“That voice… where have I heard that before…” the figure moved his right hand to the small cannon on his left shoulder. The cannon started to charge up something. When it was done, the figure moved his hand towards Cassius and Hinata, blasting a huge ray of ice elemental energy towards them.
Hinata leaped into the air, thinking to jump over the blast.
The Aquarius Uniformed warrior noticed this and raised his index finger towards Hinata. Doing so, the cannon changed its angle of fire, now aiming at Hinata.
Cassius saw this and pulled Hinata out of the way using his ability’s red strings.
Hinata on her feet, slightly ticked.
(Hey Altrince, could I ask a favor?)
(Yeah? What is it?)
Cassius fired some of the aura sharks towards the fully armored figure.
The Aquarius warrior dodged most of them with ease as Cassius cursed slightly. He was trying to think of a plan.
(Kay, it's kinda cruel to Hinata. Think you could hit her full force? ALSO, my phone's about to die ;-;)
(Well then…)
The Aquarius warrior got a full lock on Hinata’s body and fired at full force. When the ice elemental ray hit Hinata, it immediately caused parts of her body to freeze and frostbite to happen. The Aquarius warrior didn’t stop there, he jumped up and landed beside Hinata, grabbed her by the neck and started freezing it. The temperature of the ice elemental attacks he used were much, much lower than absolute zero degrees. Hinata’s body and neck started to freeze and was paralyzed by now.
Hinata stared at the Aquarius warrior, silently screaming in agony. She knew she would survive, but that didn't help. She silently prayed that freezing her was all the warrior did.
(Thanks!)
(I’ll go to class real quick, brb lol)
(Okay!)
The Aquarius warrior’s ice started doing something to Hinata’s body. The ice started to harm Hinata’s spiritual body. The Aquarius warrior was also squeezing relatively hard on Hinata’s neck, he was definitely attempting to break it.
Cassius would’ve stopped the warrior, if it weren’t for the fact that half of his body was complete covered in ice as well. His hands were covered in ice and wasn’t usable, his back was fully frozen which meant that using his own ability’s red strings was practically impossible.
The Aquarius warrior noticed how Cassius was struggling. He pointed his index finger at Cassius and froze his mouth, silencing him. He then raised his index finger to his mouth.
“Shhh… Silence please gentleman…” he started to really break Hinata’s neck now.
Hinata moaned quietly, a mere whisper of what she was trying to get out. Everything hurt. When the ice started attacking her spiritual body, the pain had increased tenfold. She was doing everything in her power to keep her Companion Souls away from the ice.
Adara blinked. “So… how do I keep track of these?” She heard commotion and her head snapped up.
Aisen turned to Adara.
“I think if you just keep it with you, it’ll be fine…” he slowed down his speech and turned to the sound of the commotion as well.
As the Aquarius warrior was about completely shatter Hinata’s neck, a figure came from somewhere behind the figure and kicked him away from Hinata. The Aquarius warrior managed to dodge the attack, however, this meant that the ice around Hinata’s neck would start to melt.
“How…?!” the Aquarius warrior looked up at the newly presented figure.
“Oh you know… I have someone I swore to protect with my life…” the figure took off their hood to reveal a dark brown and emerald eyed figure. He was holding an amber Maine coon and two wolves accompanied him soon after.
“Sorry, I took a little too long” the figure smiled at Hinata and had the amber Maine coon jump on her while ordering the wolves to attack.
As the Maine coon landed on Hinata, her body started to heal; both physically and spiritually. The cat’s eyes glowed slightly and the spirit absorbing ice started to melt away faster.
Adara moves quietly towards the noise. It had sounded like fighting, but now it seemed to have stopped.
"Thanks," Hinata said softly. She was fighting to stay concious. Thankfully, she was winning for the most part.
Aisen stayed silence and looked in the direction of the noise. He stopped.
“Looks like they stopped” he muttered.
“Wanna go see what’s happening?”
The emerald eyed figure ordered his fire wolf to try to burn the figure. The fire succeeded on getting a bite on the Aquarius warrior but got sent back by a huge wave of water.
“Matthew, you son of a…”
“Ah ah, no curse words mister” Matthew cut the figure’s sentence.
The Aquarius warrior cursed a little and sent some rays of freezing aura towards Matthew. Matthew smiled and jumped away easily.
Right now, Hinata should be nearly fully healed. The Maine coon got closer to Hinata’s face, cuddling a little. This would most likely increase her energy and spiritual life.
Adara nodded and slipped closer. Everything was silent, until a curse broke the silence.
Hinata sat up a little, holding the cat to her. She was silently berating herself for letting herself get caught off guard like that.
Aisen stepped outside the Library.
“Well… what’s this?” He asked himself silently, looking at what’s going on.
“Matthew?” Aisen spotted the partial cloaked figure.
Matthew got close to the Aquarius warrior and managed to be literally beside the figure. He used his own ability to turn his hand into a relatively large hammer and smashed the figure’s helm with it.
The Aquarius warrior knelt to the ground, half of his helm broken. He was using his hand to cover his face.
“Reveal yourself!” Matthew ordered.
“I haven’t seen him in so long,” Adar muttered. He was different from when she had last seen him.
Hinata stood, a grim look on her face. She didn't enjoy people nearly "killing" her, and she was pissed.
The Aquarius figure slowly took his hand off his face. Matthew took half a step back, both fear and surprise were in his eyes. His voice was slightly shaking.
“C-Cronos…?”
(O-O)
Hinata took a step back, eyes widening slightly.
"What the hell dude?!"
The Aquarius warrior Cronos slowly stood up.
“The reasonings behind my actions are none of your concerns…” he raised his hand to the ice ray cannon. “You only have to know that you are in my way…” he flashed his hand towards Matthew, Hinata and Cassius. Instead of an ice ray coming out, the cannon aimed at the ground and created a cold and dense mist which blocked the views of the three people.
When the mist cleared, Cronos was gone.
Hinata pursed her lips. He'd better have a damn good reason for this.
"Well, that was sudden."
Kasai, Matthew’s fire wolf/fox, started to melt away the ice that was covering Cassius. He eventually got out and breathed heavily. He struggled to breathe due to the ice that covered this mouth.
Matthew sighed.
“Well, yeah. Looks like another foe has been added to the list, this time one of our own”
Hinata rubbed her forehead. She glanced over at Cassius.
"For once, it'd be nice to not have crap like this happen."
“It would be…” Matthew started “…then again, other places are like this as well so… we can’t really complain. Also, in case you were curious, I managed to escape from that damn Chariot Master’s cage. That took almost forever…” he reached to something hidden in his cloak and smiled when Cassius turned his back to him.
He grabbed out a pistol and aimed it directly at Cassius’ head.
“Freeze…” his tone and voice changed, this was not Matthew.
