Ima changed into her uniform. She cried out, "Why did he do this to us?"
Ima changed into her uniform. She cried out, "Why did he do this to us?"
"What do you mean, Ima?" Tsuchiya asked, now in her gym clothes and in the field, "Isn't it orientation today?"
"Yeah," Ima kicked the ground, "Aizawa-sensei's orientation."
"Then what's there to worry about?" Tsychiya asked, oblivious to what was about to happen.
"Everything," Ima responded, "I hope your good with using your quirk."
Tsuchiya was about to ask Ima what she meant, but Aizawa-sensei immediately interrupted her thoughts when he started to speak, "We're going to do a Quirk Apprehension Test because you weren't allowed to in junior high," he explained. Tsuchiya was dumbstruck, a test the first day of school?!
"Is this required?" Ima asked him.
(I gotta go for a bit)
(Okay.)
(Ok I'm back peeps!)
(Welcome back!)
(hi I'm back too)
(Hi Back. I'm Shade!)
"Yeah, it's required," Aizawa-sensei said plainly, "But you can use whatever you need to to use your Quirk to it's full potential," Tsuchiya sighed in relief, she could probably use her vials to help her somehow.
"What are we about to do?" Tasper demanded, trying not to sound nervous.
Ima rolled her eyes and returned attention to Aizawa-Sensei.
"We're doing eight different tests like you did in junior high," Aizawa-Sensei explained, "But you can use your quirks to help you out. You," he pointed to the boy the girl had turned down that had tried to help her, "you placed in the top three, right?"
Tasper nodded, glaring at him boldly. "Um, yeah. So what?"
"Here, take this," he tossed the boy a softball, "you did softball throws in junior high, correct?"
Tasper shrugged as he caught the softball easily. "Sometimes. Why? Do I just have to throw it, that's all?"
"Yeah, but you can use your quirk to help you out with the throw," Aizawa-Sensei elaborated, "Just throw it as hard as you can with help from your quirk."
"No other rules than that, huh?" Tasper murmured, tossing the ball back and forth in his hands. He had an idea, but he wasn't sure if it would work. It was hard, really hard, to keep hold of something when he teleported. Even something as small as a softball. But he'd try.
"This is going to be good," Ima watched as the boy grabbed the ball to throw.
"So, what was your longest throw in junior high?" Aizawa-Sensei asked.
"I think about one hundred feet," Tasper replied, unsure. He focused, getting ready to throw.
"Alright, let's see how far you can throw it with the help of your quirk, throw whenever you're ready," Aizawa-Sensei nodded, taking out a device.
Tasper took a deep breath. He could do this. He could practically hear his mother's voice in his head telling him he couldn't. He'd show her. First, he leapt into the air, teleporting ten feet upwards, then he teleported as far as he could forwards. He only had seconds to release the ball, so he threw it as hard as he could. He teleported backwards and toppled over into a heap at his original spot, wincing as his ankles took the brunt of his descent.
Tsuchiya covered her eyes with her hand and watched as the ball soared in the air. The ball hit the ground, and Aizawa-Sensei held up the device, and it showed 1032.3 meters. Tsuchiya's eyes widened, "Woah! That's amazing!" she whispered to herself.
Tasper pushed himself to his feet, his ears burning. He couldn't believe he'd just fallen over in front of everyone. At least he'd gotten the ball to go a decent distance. He staggered back to the group, keeping his head down.
"That's really impressive," Ima whispered, "For a first try."
