Find a specific style that suits your hair texture, and it's much less likely to look bad. Besides, hair grows out and bad cuts suck, but they're not permanent.
I'm sure you'll look great though. I say go for it!

I'm getting my hair done over winter break too. Not sure how short I want it, but I am getting the ends dyed red, so that'll be fun.

I also wanna do it over break maybe at the beginning because that’s when my best friend is here and she’d be my Emotional Support and understand my quest for masculinity.

I'm doing alright. A little stressed because exams and then I have to go back home for break, but I've been pretty much fine lately, just busy.

It's kind of ridiculous at this point because I only need a 45 on my final to maintain my letter grade, but my brain is like, "hey, what if you're such a fool you can't even get a 45?"
