Everywhere I look, there's another disaster of some sort, and despite all the recent attempts to better things, it seems no one is making any sort of progress anywhere, it seems they don't even want to make progress. My state was given the opportunity to help put a stop to one of the worst issues on this planet and they did nothing. I don't understand-

Even though some people are complete jerks and stupid douches, there are still people out there who are so incredibly genuine and amazing and who dedicate their life to making this planet a better place for everyone. There are also people who does these kind of things just on reflex, not thinking about it cause being good just comes natural for them. I think we should all try to be more like those people.
Exactly. Earthly nature may have it out for us sometimes, and a good portion of humanity sucks, but there are always the altruistic, self-sacraficing, and wholesome people who help others to look forward to, and nature is an amazing, rather pure, often breathtaking experience. experience.

There were tornados around where I live recently. Yesterday the news was on and I heard Lin-Manuel Miranda’s name and perked up (of course). Turns out the cast of Hamilton was like donating to help out. (As if I needed a reason to love them more)

so julian had decided that he was gonna move from america and come to canada to be here with me and go to college here, mostly because he loves me and a little because he's trans and america is going crazy. problem is, yesterday he told me that his parents won't let him and they even said they don't know if they'll send him to college because he's 'immature", which is a cheap excuse, considering they're rich as hell. So we decided he'll try to convince them that it's good to move here, but if they say no, he's moving anyway, because neither of us is willing to wait more than one more year to see each other. And we've sort of worked out how to pay for uni/college with student loans, and how to pay for an apartment, but i'm honestly so worried. my parents might not pay for my uni after i come out to them, so i'll have student loans, and i'll probably move out anyway, and i'll get a job, but there are so many things that could go wrong and i'm so fucking stressed about all this.
i just. hnnnnnnnnnn i'm not even an adult yet and i have finals in less than a month and i'm just, so so tired.
It's so messed up how parents won't pay for education simply because of a child's sexuality. Ya know, something you can't control.
oh fuck i forgot, we're both gonna go on t too, so we have to pay for that too. god fuckin dammit

Yeah that's fucked up that they won't pay for it bc he's 'immature' or whatever. Just remember to save all you earn, or as much as you can. Never miss an opportunity to make money unless your personal health is at stake, or something more valuable is at stake. I have faith in you that you will be able to make this whole situation work, and you, my friend are a king among men.

Well ig it's a whole shitton of jobs really! I moved out with my grandparents to the country. It started as helping them move, but then I saw the opportunities here (people need wood split but don't want to do it themselves, people need a handyman for stuff like house repairs and vehicle maintenance, people need someone to manage their 20+ pets for them, and out here we have all the equipment to make dirt roads so I'll be doing that too! Also for a 5'6" guy, I'm ridiculously strong and can help people move in for money!
