With a growl of frustration, Adara started to pace again. She moved around, feet making no noise on the floor.
With a growl of frustration, Adara started to pace again. She moved around, feet making no noise on the floor.
Cassius saw Adara’s reaction to what he said.
“Maybe it’s better if I keep my mouth shut…” he muttered to himself and continued to connect Aisen’s aura pool.
Aisen started to open his eyes but didn’t immediately sat up like Chris did. Rather he looked around at the people in the room. He saw one specific person who was walking around and that person alone made him able to smile.
Hinata leaned against a wall.
"So, what now?"
Cronos sighed.
“Well…to be honest, you guys can go home if you want. ‘Cause from now on, we can get into some sensitive topics…” he glanced at Chris and Cassius.
Hinata rolled her eyes.
(Tell me, would Hinata's interdimensional portal work?)
(She’s practically stronger than almost everyone in the Labyrinth, so yes)
Adara glanced over at Aisen. She gave a small, hesitant smile.
(Um, wow.)
Hinata thought for a moment.
"Let me try something." She pulled her left sleeve up, revealing a portal device built into her glove. She punched in some coordinates, and pressed go. A ring flew off of her glove and expanded in front of her. The area inside of the metal ring was glowing blue.
Tolkalee stopped and looked at Cronos. "I'm not leaving yet," he snapped.
Aisen saw Adara and giggled a little before closing his eyes again… this was not a dramatic scene but was something worse. Cassius was shocked when he realized something. He turned to Cronos.
“Cronos…can you go get Matthew and Thomas…? Like…right now…?”
Cronos raised a brow. “Why?”
“His aura pool stopped flowing…and that’s something I can’t fix…” Cassius replied with a shocked expression present.
When Cronos heard that, he let go of Jonathan and ran faster than last time back to the room where some of the Knights were.
“Fifteen minutes…Fifteen minutes only…” Cassius turned to the alive ones.
Brows furrowed, Adara glanced to Cassius. "What's wrong?"
Hinata pumped her fist.
"It works!!"
Tollalee sprinted over and went down on his knees next to Aisen. "What can I do?" He was examining Aisen closely.
Cassius shook his head before turning to Adara.
“Us Phantom rely on an Aura Pool to survive…and Aisen’s just stopped flowing…” he tried to find where the blockage was in Aisen’s spiritual body. “If not taken care of within fifteen minutes, he will disappear from existence in a whole…”
Cassius started to tear up a little but had no time to wipe his little tears. “I’m afraid only a Phantom can help each other…” he explained to Tolkalee with a shaking voice.
She paled. "Fun. How can it be stopped?"
"I didn't ask what can't do, I asked what I can," Tolkalee snapped. "This is not the time to tell someone what they can't do."
Cassius turned to Adara.
“Someone has to go into his spiritual self and take care of what’s ever blocking the flow…right now, only Matthew and Thomas are the ones who can do that…the thing is……” his tears fall to his knees.
“There’s never a guarantee…”
Cassius turned to Tolkalee.
“Right now…? I guess you can follow Cronos to the room we were, make sure that Matthew and Thomas are safe”
Adara growled. She may still have been mad at Aisen, but there was some small part of her…
"What can I do to help?"
"Is there a way to slow it down?" Tolkalee asked.
Cassius wiped his tears before he answered Adara.
“Escorting Matthew, Cronos and Thomas here safely…that’s the most helpful thing you can do right now… just follow Tolkalee here…” he gestured at him while still having caduceuses in his eyes and they were shining brighter than they’ve ever been.
“I’m afraid there isn’t…fifteen minutes is fifteen minutes…” he turned to Tolkalee while still searching for where or what the blockage was in Aisen’s spirit.
Adara nodded and left.
"Is it fifteen minutes, for him? Or fifteen minutes altogether?" Tolkalee asked, he hadn't moved.
“Fifteen minutes universally… time manipulation won’t help I’m afraid… Cronos and I realized that when Noah died…”
"So me stopping him and I both in time while the rest of you wouldn't be affected, wouldn't work?" Tolkalee asked. He didn't wait for an answer. He stood up and walked to the middle of the room. Looking around he thought of something. "Would turning back all of time work?"
“That’ll…speed up the process…” Cassius answered, stressed out and thinking of a way to safe his brother. Even if it means risking his own spirit.
(There’s a Hint here alright)
Cronos arrived at the room. He opened the door to see that the room was completely empty.
Shit… he turned to see Adara following him. “No one’s here”
"Well they have less than five minutes left. So either you're going to have to learn how to save him, or he dies," Tolkalee looked back at him.
Cassius clenched his fists still with tears rolling down his face.
“Maybe…just maybe…” his caduceuses turned silver, a color he never wished to use unless it was necessary.
