Sighing as he knew he was about to walk out into a danger land again. It wasn't much safer in the building, but it was a little. Then he thought of something. "Listen," he was tightening his arm guards, and zipping up his hoodie. "I know where I'm going, and I can get there and back faster on my own. Now before you get all, 'but you said we should stick together,' I know what I said. Just wait here for me. I am good at staying out of trouble when I'm alone trust me."
“Oh no no no, nice to meet you!!” Evan gestured to Adara while looking at Aisen with a smiling surprised face.
“Teacher Ai!! I’ll see you around soon MisterrrrRRRRR~!!!!” He said the last part as his aura train passed by and took him with it.
“He’s way too active for me to handle…” Aisen sighed and laughed. “But he’s just so fricking adorable”
Cronos nodded.
“I understand. The hunters can kill us but not you” he said and closed the door when Tolkalee walked out.
Adara snorted. "Seems like it. You know, I just noticed that you have two energetic children on your hands, and you're not active at all."
“Jonathan’s not that active, he’s just all over the place especially when he’s with me…” Aisen corrected.
"Same difference," Adara said with an eye roll.
“The only difference I can think of regarding personality in Evan and Jonathan is that Evan is an extrovert while Jonathan is shy and is an introvert…I guess” he said, starting to walk towards the main ballroom.
That was a lie, they can and probably would kill me if they found me, he thought to himself. And if they knew anything about who I am and what I am capable of, then I would be a target. He began running, silently, towards Matthew's place. He was actually moving on a different route, keeping to the darker shadows. And staying up on high ground. Because for some reason that seemed to be the blind spot of a lot of people, above them, or bellow them.
“Hey there… not dead yet…?” a familiar voice called to Tolkalee from the roofs. The figure jumped down and revealed Intharachit.
“No need to tell me, I already know of Cassius’ death” he explained to Tolkalee before he can say anything.
“And if you’re heading to Matthew’s place for your bow and quiver…” he got exactly that from behind him.
“I’d figure you would find a way to get them back, so I got them for ya…”
Aisen reached the ballroom, following right behind him was Adara. Looking into the room, he saw no one and saw the texts on the wall. He pointed to the texts.
“You recognized these being in here?” He asked Adara.
Adara shook her head. "I assume they're there because the people who kidnapped us wanted to make a mark." She stepped closer, eyeing them. "Ashes, ashes, we all fall down." She said softly. "Why? Why that?"
Aisen pointed down to the other text.
“Sinners belong in hell…not a Paradise…” was on the wall and was in a different handwriting.
“Uh…yeah…I’m pretty sure there were two people in here during the night…” he suggested that thought.
"One of them must be that woman," Adara said thoughtfully. "Wonder why. Why us? What's so special about us?"
“First off, how do you know that one of them was a woman? Second thing, I don’t know…” he said, analyzing the text.
"Because, she took me," she said, a dark look on her face. "She trapped me in a dark sphere and left me there."
“Right…” he somewhat recognized the handwriting of the bottom text, but he can’t really think of who it could be. “Well, I guess we can go find Jon now?”
"Hinata. Hinata Hayashi. Balance Keeper." She gave a bow.
The figure in the black royal suit in front of Hinata nodded and turned to Jonathan. He stared at Jonathan for a little before walking closer and kicked him with full force straight in the head.
“That’s for failing to service the Marquesses correctly…” he said after Jonathan fell to the ground.
Jonathan slowly got up and knelt down again. “My apologies, my lord…” he apologized to the royal figure while having his right hand rub the place that the royal figure had kicked him.
The royal figure looked down at Jonathan in distaste and disgrace…
(Time to have Hinata burst with rage :D)
Tolkalee gave him a look of suspicion. "Why would you be trying to help me?" I attacked you out of the blue, you tried to kill me, what do you want, and why are you trying to help me? The thoughts ran through his head.
Intharachit laughed a little.
“It’s easy… we’re on the same side at the moment. Right now, you’re neither a friend nor a foe to me but as much as I hate to say this, I don’t want you dead just yet. You’re going to be a lot of help to us Knights” he stated, handing the bow and quiver to Tolkalee.
Tolkalee took them. "Thanks," he strapped it to his back. Then he checked for his short sword and the other hidden blade. "The rest of us are at the royal building in the center of the labyrinth. If you want to join us."
Intharachit shook his head.
“No need for that, I already grouped up with Faith, Luis, Edge and Daniel. Also, there’s another group of us around which are Sam, Desmond, Royce, Axel and Arthur. So yeah, we’re on different sides of the Labyrinth right now; my group’s to the left and the other group’s to the right from here. We all agreed on not losing another of the eleventh generation, that’s why we decided to work together for the first time since we became inactive” he explained and chanted something.
A green and golden naga appeared from a portal behind him, seemingly as big as a wyvern. He jumped on the naga’s head, standing steadily on it. “Well, peace…” he said to Tolkalee and the naga flew away at high speed.
Tolkalee was holding his bow in his right hand. You know I could drop you out of the sky in seconds, he thought to himself watching him leave. He turned and began making his way back towards the royal building where everyone else was.
Adara saw Jonathan and a few other figures. The kid was kicked, and she snarled under her breath, flames bursting into beings.
(Hey, coincidence! Hinata's husband's name is Daniel)
Hinata took a step forward. Her mask hid her facial expression, but her eyes literally glowed with rage.
"That was uncalled for."
The black suited royal figure looked up at Hinata.
“What? Is it wrong to punish someone for something they’ve done wrong perhaps? Lord Script was nearly ill thanks to this idiot…” the royal figure claimed, looking down and kicking Jonathan again; this time much harder than the first time. The figure didn’t even try to move another limb other than his leg, which made it look as if he was seriously mad.
Aisen saw Adara’s expression and held her back.
“Don’t…that’s one of the seven Viscounts, or so to say, one of the strongest people in the Labyrinth” he warned and explained.
The building came into view, and Tolkalee came to a stop. Now the only thing in between him and the building was a big open space. He scanned the clearing to make sure no one was there, then he began making his way across as fast and as quietly as he could.
Cronos, who was still by the door, saw Tolkalee through the small opening he made. He opened the door for Tolkalee, gesturing him to come quickly.
