Skye laughed, leaping down, rolling to break his fall, "I like your style mate!" he said, smirking,.
Skye laughed, leaping down, rolling to break his fall, "I like your style mate!" he said, smirking,.
"Why, thank you!" He said, fake bowing.
Skye laughed, standing, but he froze when he finally got a good look at him. Micheal?! he thought, his features showing no sign of surprise. "So, what do y'all do here anyway?" he asked, looking around, What in Cayana is he doing here?!
"Waiting for the night to fall so we can get to the real fun stuff." He said, grinning.
"And what sort of fun would that be??" he asked, making sure to keep his hood down in case Micheal recognized him.
"Oh, you will see, newbie." He smirked, trying to not laugh. "On that note, may I have a name?"
"Wolfheart." he said, figuring it'd be better than giving his first name. "You?"
"They all call me Mouse." He said, holing out a hand to shake.
Skye took it, knowing that dark skin wasn't that uncommon, it was more his hair and eyes he was worried about.
"Good to meet ya." He said, pulling his hand away.
Skye nodded, "Same to you mate" he said.
He smiled, lighting another cigarette.
Skye frowned at the sight of the cigarette, but said nothing, taking up a spot near some crates.
"So, what brought you here?" He asked, tilting his head.
"Boredom" answered Skye easily.
"Fair enough. Least it wasn't something bad." He said, lying on the floor.
"Now I'm curious as to why you're here?" He said
"I'm always up to raise a little hell." He said casually.
"What kind of hell are we talking?" He asked, slightly attracted to this playful and cocky attitude.
"Whatever the fuck we can think of on the fly!" He said, laughing.
"Sounds like fun, but what are we waiting around here for?" He asked.
"Nightfall." He said, playing with his drumstick. "More of our folks can get out, and it's easier to slip away if we need it. Gotta raise hell strategically. If it all goes it shit, then I'll just fall behind."
Skye nodded, glancing out the window. "Won't be long now" he mused.
"Yep. Quarter moon tonight too. Waxing." He said, closing his eyes.
"And this is important…?" Skye let it hang, a little confused. He himself worried more about the stars movements, but that was a personal interest, more than it was magic related.
He coughed awkwardly. "Uh… sorry. Bad habit. I-I was, um, weirdly obsessed with the moon as a kid and- uh…" He managed to stutter out a lie, blushing slightly. Also good for small scale protection spells but nobody is supposed to know that
Skye had to force his features to stay still, "Everyone has their quirks," he said, "I myself like to track the constellations." What is he?? A luna mystic??
"Cool!" He said, smiling. He looked out a broken window. "Hey, sun's heading down!" Good night Apollo!
A few kids cheered, and a few more started trickling in.
((Kinda taking some of the magic stuff from actual witchcraft because I researched it a lot for a story at one point, so he's also kinda pagan.))
Skye watched as the crowd grew, a bit confused as to why he couldn't block out Micheal's thoughts, but he was also more curious as to what this group considered fun.
(Interesting! My magic system is more element based, and certain elements are called mystic elements and act similar to sorcery and can be used to strengthen other spells. Skye is a Mystic Star elemental.)
