I feel like I can't be happy with what I've accomplished so I'm only sad about what I haven't. I got awards from school for effort, academics, citizenship, and a special love-of-learning award and I didn't care. I practiced stage makeup and I was depressed because I didn't feel any prettier despite all the effort. It's a horrible unhealthy loop.

I understand that completely. Sometimes after I do something noteworthy my failures just come crawling back into my head and boom. Anxiety.

It happens all the time to me at work and college, it really isn't good, however at work I don't really have the chance to think about it since I'm working against a clock to make others somewhat happy
