Lance stood and eyed the three warily. He didn't recognize any of them. Were they friends of Aurae?
Unlikely. She was an elf from a different world. She wasn't one to make friends with people easily, especially in an unknown world that she isn't from.
"Who-or what- are you?" Tempest asked, standing.
Teresa smirked. "We're Primordials."
"Ah, that's what that aura is," Lance muttered to himself. So that answers his question as to if they were friends with the trickster demigod. She'd have no idea who they were.
Teresa smirked, nodding. "Goat, Siren."
Tempest sent the girl a small, nervous smile.
Gavin rolled his eyes. "You're suffocating the poor creatures, Resa. Calm down."
Teresa grinned. "We'll meet you by that cabin place later. But for now, continue with what you were doing."
Tempest flushed as the three disappeared.
(Random fun fact: Teresa was actually the first character I ever created on here.)
(Wow. My favorite character to rp with on here–and the one I've been told has the best personality–is named Theresa. Gasp. Imagine if they met??)
Lance grumbled under his breath. "Never did really like Primordials…"
(That would be beautiful and terrifying… also, Cyrus dated Taran's half sister, Brykin, for a bit…)
Tempest laughed. "Yes, but they're better than Hera."
(Oh my… Would he know Tess if we're keeping Taran and her enemies?)
"Very true," he agreed, nodding. Once again, her laugh warmed his heart.
(No, it was before Taran and Brykin knew about each other.)
"Come on," she said, grabbing his hand. "Let's head home."
(Should I make an rp for Teresa and Theresa?)
(It would be a disaster just waiting to happen… Why the hell not?)
"Yeah." He tightened his grip around her hand, brushing his thumb idly over the back of her hand.
She grinned shyly and headed to her car.
Before they got there, though, Lance sighed and pulled Tempest next to a tree and cupped her face. He leaned down so that their foreheads touched, eyes looking straight into Tempest's. There was something he was itching to do, and he would rather the somewhat privacy of the park than the camp.
Tempest gazed at him, eyes wide, but happy and expectant.
He leaned in until their lips were a hairsbreadth apart, still hesitant since he had no idea if Tempest was okay with it.
Tempest rolled her eyes. "Just kiss me, idiot," she breathed.
He smiled and captured her lips with his.
Tempest reached up, hands diving into his hair, pulling him closer.
His hands moved from her face to her waist, pulling her against him as he deepened the kiss.
She gripped his hair harder, standing on tiptoes.
He groaned against her lips, savoring the taste of her and the feel of her hands in his hair.
Tempest licked his lip, asking for access. She had no idea what she was doing, standing here kissing a goat. But she didn't care.
(that just sounds so weird)
He parted his lips, letting her in as he gripped her waist. While he may be immune to her siren charm… she certainly had him under her spell thanks to her natural charm.
(Right?)
Tempest finally pulled away as her phone rang. She glanced at the caller ID and swore. "What, Aquarius, you big baby?" She muttered.
Lance accidentally let a whine slip as she pulled back, but said nothing further as she mentioned her brother.
Tempest sent him a small, knowing smirk, then answered the phone.
"How the fuck did you manage to convince the Three to join us?"
"The Three?" She asked, puzzled.
"The Primordials!"
Tempest rolled her eyes, though she knew he couldn't see her. "Long story. You're welcome, by the way."
Lance could hear the conversation perfectly, and smothered an amused smile at Aquarius's opening line.
(Sorry, I had to go to a stupid performance of my siblings.)
Aquarius sighed. "Thank you, sis. We might stand a fighting chance now."
(It's okay!)
Lance nodded his agreement, still silently listening. He didn't want Aquarius to know he was there with Tempest.
