He pouted a little, "I hate the government."
He pouted a little, "I hate the government."
“Yeah me too” He said with a small smile.
Kyle sighed and snuggled into Caleb.
“Ugh I just remembered I actually have work today” he let out a long sigh.
He whined softly in protest and hugged him tightly.
Caleb kissed the top of his head. “Well on the bright side, that’s not for a few more hours. But speaking of things we have to do…are you planning on going back to school at some point? I know things have been difficult lately but I was just wondering”
Kyle was silent for a moment, “I… I don’t know…” He replied quietly.
“Well…at least think about what you want. Okay?”
“I-I want to graduate and finish… b-but I don’t know if I can…”
He sighed quietly. “I know it’s been hard for you lately…maybe we can find someone to help” he said, gently taking Kyle’s hand.
His eyes widened a little, “L-Like a therapist?” He whispered.
He shook his head. “Not unless you wanted one. My older sister specializes in people with powers, she might be able to help. But only if you wanted to go see her.”
He shrugged slightly and curled up more around Caleb as if trying to disappear, “M-Maybe… Wh-What’s her name?”
“Her name’s Katie,” he said “just think about it, I’m not trying to force you into anything you don’t want to do.”
He nodded just a little, whimpering softly.
He sighed quietly, kissing the top of his head. “I just worry about you sometimes babe”
“I-I know… and I-I’m sorry for w-worrying you so m-much…”
“It’s okay. It’s not your fault. I just love you so much and I couldn’t bear to lose you.”
He lifted his head slightly to look at Caleb, “I-I love you too…l
He smiled softly
Kyle sighed and snuggled into Caleb.
Caleb held him close, beginning to hum quietly.
Kyle relaxed more with the humming, closing his eyes.
Caleb smiled softly. He hoped they found a way to really help Kyle get more stable.
Kyle let himself relax further, falling into a light sleep.
After awhile, Caleb slowly got up and went into the kitchen.
Kyle whined slightly when Caleb got up, but didn’t wake.
Caleb started brewing up a pot of coffee, letting out a tired sigh. He knew he wouldn’t be going back to sleep.
Kyle curled up on the couch, preserving the warmth of the couch.
Maybe he could get some work done, or something.
“Stop shutting me out Caleb” Eddie said quietly.
Well there goes that idea of getting any work done whatsoever. “Leave me alone” He mumbled.
She scoffed. “You always do this! Just because you think you’re ‘okay’ with bottling this all inside doesn’t mean I am!”
