Kyle rubbed at the back of his neck and sat down, "Yeah…"

“Anyway…I suppose you just want me to leave now then? Unless you have any more requests of course”

Kyle shook his head, "No… I don't. I guess um… c-come back tomorrow and I'll give you my answer?"

“Anyway you can get Caleb out of the apartment tomorrow? I really don’t wanna get in a fight with your boyfriend”

Kyle shrugged and bit his lip, "I don't know… he doesn't like to leave me here by myself without a real reason…"

He sighed. “This is going to be difficult…I could maybe get Veronica to do it. Probably actually”

He nodded a little, "Okay… sounds good…"

“Well then. Until tomorrow I guess” he said, standing up and starting to leave.

"Yeah… until tomorrow…" He mumbled, leaning back into the mattress.

Dark left the same way he came in, closing the window behind him. Why a super villain needs to use windows, who knows.

Kyle sighed softly, crawling under the covers again. He snuggled into Caleb's jumper and closed his eyes.

A few hours later, you could hear Caleb open the door. “I’m home”

Kyle sat up quickly in bed. He'd slept a little after Dark left but had woken up from a nightmare. It was obvious he'd been crying as he practically ran to Caleb and trapped him in a hug.

“Woah, you okay?” He asked, hugging him tightly

"I-I missed you… a-and I had a-another nightmare…" He mumbled, hiding his face in his chest.

“Well it’s okay, I’m here now.” He said, picking him up.

Kyle wrapped his legs around Caleb's waist, snuggling into him a little more.

Caleb carried him back to the bedroom, plopping them down on the bed.

"Um… C-Caleb?" Kyle pulled back a little, "S-Something happened while y-you were gone…"

“Wanna tell me about it?”

"W-Well I kinda have to…" He took a breath, "Dark came a visited…"

He raised an eyebrow. “Actually?”

He nodded, "A-And… he said I wasn't safe here… and whats to take me somewhere safer…"

Caleb took a second to process it. “Okay….so what are you gonna do”

"I-I didn't want to go w-without you…" He said quietly.

“Do you…want to go at all?” He asked.

"I-If I'll be safe from… her then yes…"

“Okay, I’ll do whatever makes you happy” he said, gently wrapping his arms around Kyle.

Kyle snuggled back into Caleb and nodded.

He sighed quietly. “Everything’s getting so complicated” he mumbled.
