Looking at Ella's work made me realise that there are people who genuinely have skill, and those people deserve to be doing the course that I am in rather than someone who winged their way into college

Okay, thanks for the compliment, however if you want to take some art courses in college, you take those courses even if there are people out there who you think can draw better.
If I were to use that same logic, I shouldn’t be doing art courses online because there are people out there such as Akiane Kramarik, Ross Draws, WLOP, and even my best friend who genuinely have skill, and they deserve to take those courses rather than someone who relies entirely on her digital ruler and 40 layers of guidelines just to draw a face.

Art courses help you learn, you shouldn’t give up just because you think other people might be ahead of you. If you enjoy the course, then keep taking it.
