"Anything but burgers." Hinata laughed.
"None will be as good as my husband's."
"Anything but burgers." Hinata laughed.
"None will be as good as my husband's."
“Is Japanese food okay? ‘Cause I know a good place around here” Jamie suggested.
"Sure!" Hinata smiled.
"Just like mum and dad used to make."
Tolkalee shrugged. "I'm willing to try things, but if I die of poisoning, I will hunt you all down and haunt you forever."
“Sweet” Jamie exclaimed as he started to lead the group to the next street of the region, one of the buildings there stand out. The building’s entrance is filled with red flags and some lanterns. As Jamie walked in before the others did…the people in there yelled something along the lines of…
“IRASSHAIMASE!!!!”
(My Asian Cells are shaking now lol)
(Lolz)
"Well, that's a thing," Hinata said.
Matthew walked in after. “Well, they maintain their jobs even when they’re dead” he said while Kohaku hissed at the staffs.
"Makes sense." Hinata looked around.
"So, let's say my parents had owned a restaurant. Would I be able to go to it? Like, the exact restaurant?"
Tolkalee shook his head. He would have much rathered go hunting. He would do it with Seth all the time. Thinking about it made him kind of sad.
Matthew looked to Hinata as they walked to their seats. “Well, technically yes, but their restaurant would be in the region they’re assigned to” he explained.
"I see. So, where are we in the Labyrinth again?" Hinata asked.
“This is the Disease region” Matthew told her as they all sat down. He handed each of them a menu. “Take your time, I’ll order drinks first” Matthew said to them before turning to a staff and ordered green tea for everyone.
"I see. Well, I'm gonna swing by the Betrayal region laster." Hinata looked at the menu.
Tolkalee looked at the menu like it was written in Greek. "What language is this?" He asked.
"Here." Hinata held out a pair of glasses.
"This should help."
(They're translator glasses. They translate any written language into the native written language of the wearer.)
"I'm sorry, I can speak in more than thirty languages, but I have dyslexia," he apologized. "Reading is not my forte."
"Still, they could help." Hinata looked through the menu.
"Hm, Yakitori or Miso soup? any suggestions?"
Matthew smiled. “That’s Japanese, a magical yet horrifying language…” he said with a slight laugh.
"That's why I'm happy I grew up with English and Japanese."
“Well—“ Jamie began as he’s been here several times “—I would recommend the Yakitori and Hiyashi Chuka (Cold Ramen) set, that’s easily one of the best on the menu.”
"Ā nihongo watashi wa gengo o shitte imasu," Tolkalee said with a grin.
“Sore wa subarashī kotodesu” Matthew replied with a smile as well. “Anyways, what do you like to eat?” He gestured to Tolkalee.
"I just can't read it," Tolkalee sighed taking the glasses from Hinata with a nod of thanks.
Matthew shook his head. “I mean what did you like to eat when you were out hunting” he corrected his sentence. “I’ll order the closest thing to that for you” he insisted.
"I'll usually hunt Paes with Seth…" he trailed of for a moment. "Well I did anyway, they're my home's version of deer pretty much."
Jamie smacked Matthew’s head. “Did you forget that he isn’t from earth?” Jamie calmly yelled at Matthew. “I guess I’ll just get him one of the recommended menus then…” Matthew continued.
"Nope, I'm from earth backwards," Tolkalee commented.
“Htrae……?” Matthew asked, confusingly.
