Connor raised a brow as he said the names of the gods. “You’ve…read through my documents?” He asked, unsure of the answer and wanting to change the topic.
Connor raised a brow as he said the names of the gods. “You’ve…read through my documents?” He asked, unsure of the answer and wanting to change the topic.
"Yeah, one of the other dull minded Knights dropped it while they ran past us," Tolkalee nodded.
Connor knew exactly which Knight it was since that was his job. He sighed “That wasn’t a first for him”
Knight H, Asher, walked by and saw Connor with Tolkalee. He got curious and walked towards them.
Tolkalee glanced up and saw the second Knight coming towards them. He gave a hard sigh. By this point he was done with all the Knights in this place. "And who is that?"
Connor looked up. “Oh, Asher. He’s the one with the lab coat earlier” he answered.
"Great… Anyone else gonna join us?" Tolkalee turned in a circle with his arms out. "Anyone?"
Asher looked at Tolkalee like he was some weirdo but shrugged it off. He turned to Connor, “What were you two talking about?” he asked. “None of your business Asher” he answered.
Tolkalee watched the interaction for a moment, in silence. "I do have one question. How did we get here?" he asked gesturing to Hinata and himself.
Asher looked at Connor. “You explain…I have work to do” he waved and went into the Research Building.
Connor sighed slightly. “Well, the Master is always fond with having living entities like you come visit since it is actually the easiest way to get Knights and Officers. Though as you saw before, once you disrespect the laws of the Labyrinth, we start chasing you down. The Master opens up portals for entities like you who miss their loved ones and/or comrades, so that’s why and how you’re currently here…”
"What laws did we violate?!" Tolkalee looked at him in disbelief. "I was walking through a hall, when Oliver came up behind me, and threatened me."
Connor shook his head. “Sometimes, some of Knights just attack out of fun. They don’t usually kill the spirits, just injure them slightly. Sure, it can be brutal but we take them to the Recovery Room in the Soul Garden and they’ll be just fine. As for some of the laws…you can’t bring the spirits here back to your living world as it slightly breaks the balance but like Joseph once said that you are allowed to talk to the spirit once every visit”
"You still didn't answer my question," Tolkalee stated. "I only talked to my friend once, and I had no intention of bringing him back. So what the hell?"
Connor shrugged. “The patrol team might’ve misunderstood, who knows, obviously I don’t”
"Y'all suck," Tolkalee sighed. "I got skewered like nine times, because of a misunderstanding."
Connor scratched his neck. “Yeah, sorry ‘bout that”
Tolkalee shook his head. "That is why I choose to watch and learn things before doing something. It may look like I'll jump blindly into a fight but that's not the case. I choose my battles carefully, less misunderstandings happen."
Connor nodded a little. “I suppose you have a point…”
(Real quick, is the labyrinth underground or somewhere else?)
(Think of it on the same level as Earth’s. It’s more like a parallel universe than anything else)
(Okay)
"Yeah, I have a point. Geez, I feel like everyone's personal punching bag," he said. "I get beat up by everyone back at home, by people on other planets, and apparently by everyone here as well."
Connor glanced at the Clock Tower, seeing Cronos calling him. “Eh, I might need to go for now…” he said.
"Alright, I'll see you later probably," Tolkalee waved. "And tell him I still think he's a scumbag," he said pointing at Cronos.
Connor smiled. “I’ll be sure to tell him that, as if I don’t tell him that everyday already…” he laughed whilst walking away.
Galahad, still within the maze, looked towards the knight that was tailing him.
"Listen, if you don't tell me why you're following me, I will shoot you and leave."
Knight B raised a brow. “Look, I just need to make sure that you don’t break the rules of this place. Especially since that crochet of yours was leading somewhere, I got curious” the Knight answered.
Galahad arched an eyebrow at the Knight. "What rules are there? I only came here to bring back the spirits of my dead siblings. I was told by another one of you where they currently are. This hook is leading me there because you people clearly didn't invest in any good signage or even a directory!"
Knight B cracked his knuckles, not in a threatening way. “Well, the two rules you need to know is…one, don’t scare or threaten the spirits that live here, and two, you are allowed to talk to the spirits of your siblings, but once you’ve decided to take them back with you…well, let’s just say it won’t end well for you” he answered.
The Animus-user smiled. "Well, then. I'll go talk to them and be on my way, then."
Galahad turned away from the Knight and followed his hook.
"Idiot," he scoffed under his breath.
The Knight walked away from Galahad, slightly grinning. “Such power is rare…this might be a nice catch…” he said to himself.
On the other hand, the Knights that were with Alex left the room they’re in without revealing to Alex which building they’re in. The Knights went in different directions but with the same intention as the current Knight L is absent, they’d have to look for a substitute. They all had a fraction of the Knight’s badge. Two of them, Gabriel and Zac were walking close to Galahad.
