Wila nodded in apologies and followed Beaux out "ok so you really hate him like the rest of us, or you find interest in him." She said, mouth full of bagles
Wila nodded in apologies and followed Beaux out "ok so you really hate him like the rest of us, or you find interest in him." She said, mouth full of bagles
Beaux tensed up and her eyes went wide. "Interested? No, no way. Hes a messed up person, I would never be interested in someone like him." After clearing that up she loosened up, and continued to the cafeteria.
Aza dressed in her turquoise and scarlet dress, representing her powers. Sitting at the table, she picked at a chocolate chip bagel, humming to herself.
(I didn't know they could have powers.)
(mine's performance is pyrokinesis + hydrokinesis)
(So is it just for show, like she doesn't actually have those, or does she actually have powers?)
(do you mean she uses fire and water in her act or she actually has the powers? Cause no powers in this unfortunately)
Harrow followed the group as soon as Tam walked out, head down. He burst into the cafeteria and sat across from Aza, staring her down.
He smiled at her and put out his hand. "Give me the bagel, please."
Wila shook her head, “you misunderstand me. I never said which way you were interested in him. You can be interested in a negative way. You don’t have to like him to find out whats up.”
(So is it just for show, like she doesn't actually have those, or does she actually have powers?)
(it's just for show, she has special magnetic gloves she designed herself that manipulate the magnetic poles of particles)
"No," Aza said quietly.
The smile never leaving his face, he slammed his fist down onto the table. "Now, girl."
Tam circled the two, joining Wila. "I'd suggest you stop talking until he leaves," he muttered, pushing Wila onto a bench so she'd sit.
"I could kill you," Aza said. "But I won't." She returned to eating silently.
Wila rolled her eyes and positioned herself to sit on the table, he feet on the bench "why, what's he gonna do? Kill me? For a few make spoken words and some teasing? Honestly, grow a shell"
Harrow stood and went to stand behind Aza. He leaned down right next to her ear, hand tightly on her shoulder.
"Stupid child," he shouted. He knocked the bagel out of her hand and single-handedly lifted her off the bench by the wrist. He set her down in front of him without letting go.
"You'd best rethink your attitude. The only special thing you've got is those gloves and any of those bastards could be taught to use them," he spat, indicating the three other kids.

Tam got up to stand in front of the two other girls automatically, praying they wouldn't do anything stupid.
"No, they couldn't," Aza replied, unfazed. "And I doubt even you, Mr. Smartass, could either."
He threw her down onto the ground.
"You three. Get to training immediately," he commanded the others without looking over. He pick Aza up by the wrist again and dragged her out of the room.
Wila stared wide eyed and started towards Aza and Harrow, mumbling nonsense under breath. "Tam, out please." She spoke softly "please…he can't…" She pleaded, eyes aglow tmwith desperation and anger
"You don't scare me," Aza said.
Tam grabbed Wila's arm and looked her in the eye. "Listen. If there's one thing I know, it's that Aza can take care of herself. Meddling with this will only make it worse." He sighed loudly and, shaking off the gravity of the situation, started towards the door. "Come on, you heard him. Training."
She nodded dumbly and let him take her titrating, not able to tear her gaze away from the door until they exited the cafeteria "I'm sorry…." She whispered, guilt twisting her guts
Tam led Wila out the door before letting go of her arm. He stopped and, checking the cafeteria, waited for Beaux to join them.
(just so we don't go too far without her?)
Beaux walked over and tore Harrow from Aza. "If you hurt her wrist she wont be able to go out tonight." A smile spread across her face, although it was fake. "And we wouldn't want one of our best performers to be injured, right?" She knew Aza was afraid, but Beaux would make any excuse to just annoy the hell out of Harrow.
Wila peeked her head Inside and smiled as she saw Beaux tear Harrow away "good. Do what I couldn't." She praised silently "maybe next time."
Harrow slapped Beaux hard across the face, his copper ring glinting as it flew across her skin. "Training. Now." he repeated calmly.
He grabbed Aza again, this time by her shirt, and kept walking, his free hand curled into a ready fist.
"You can hurt me. I won't hurt you. Unless you ask for it." Aza said.
They finally stopped in front of a steel door painted over to blend into the wall.
"You're going to go into solitary now. Take off your uniform and get in there," he asked coolly, unlocking the door. It opened on to a tiny narrow room, barely tall enough to fit a fridge.
"You need me to perform," Aza said, but took her dress off and stepped into the room.
"It's 5 am, sweetie. We've got a solid 14 hours," he told her sweetly, voice dripping with sarcasm. "If I remember to stop by you'll get lunch."
He slammed the door, double-locked it, grabbed her uniform off the floor and headed towards the training room.
