"Thanks." She took it and wiped the sweat from her face. She sat down next to him and leaned against the cave wall, watching the sun set.
Elm ran until he came to a cliff. The sun would be going down in two hours and frankly, Elm didn't have enough time to get to where he needed to go and come back. He wasn't even sure if Aisen and Adara would both be back to help slay the King. "Avem." He whispered into the gap before him. His whisper echoed around the cliff walls, getting louder and louder, the opposite way that an echo works. When it stopped, a bird-figure began coming from a distance. Elm squinted against the sun, watching the bird come closer. The bird was giant. The bird dove down and and then rushed straight up, landing in front of Elm. "Thank you," Elm told the bird, which showed no indication of understanding except for a small glint in it's eyes. Elm hopped onto it's back and told it. "domus meus." The bird understood this, and acted immediately. It zoomed off, towards the sun.
Aisen looked at the sunset as well. “Beautiful, isn’t it…?” He started to zone out as he said it.
Adara smiled slightly. "Yeah." Soon, she dozed off.
A large bird figure with a rider flew across their view of the sun for one minute, and then flew out of sight.
Elm found the Tree again and landed in front of it. "Mother, father, I'm home." He called, hopping off of Avem. Nothing stirred or moved. "Hellooo?" Elm called. Sighing he walked right up to the tree and knocked on it. Anyone who walked past would think he was mental. "Okay, fine then. Be salty, I don't care." Elm pressed his fore-fingers and thumbs together and said "Aperta porta." Nothing changed, but Elm walked into the tree, seeming to just disappear.
Aza flashed into view near the tree Elm walked into. "Elm? You can just leave me here, but at least tell me!" She plopped down on the grass and looked at the sky.

Aisen woke up, not realizing he had slept on Adara’s lap. His body sprung up, immediately looking at Adara. He let out a sigh of relief when he saw that she was still ‘asleep’.
Adara's dreams were filled with fire. Lots and lots and lots of fire. And a burning crown. Words drifted around in her head. "Does she know?" "No."
Elm's eyes widened when he saw Aza. "Oh no… Aza, come with me." He said and grasped her arm, dragging her into the Tree with him.
Aisen proceeded to shake Adara’s body. “Hey there Ms. Flower, Petunia, wake up~” he spoke as he looked out the cave.
Adara woke. "W-what?" She asked sleepily. She sat up, looking around.
“We both slept for about an hour and a half so you know…it’s pretty darn close to nighttime” he explained.
Adara stood up. "Okay. Where do we start?" She stretched, her joints popping, and picked up the fox mask Aisen had given her. She waved her hand, and the mask burned with inner flames, before fading. She put it on. "Ready to go?"
Aisen unsheathed his longsword. “Well, ladies first” he suggested.
"So… you should go first," Adara said with a straight face. "You are a lady after all."
“Well, that backfired…” he slashed his longsword creating a portal to the gates of the castle.
(lmao)
(That reaction though lol)
Adara leaped lightly through. She turned to Aisen. "Come on, my lady." She gave a mock bow, a mischievous look on her face.
“I would’ve stabbed you by now if it weren’t for the fact that you’re currently on the same side as I am…” he threatened as he walked through the portal. Stabbing the longsword to the ground once, the portal closes. “By the way, this might be a little random but—“ he looked at the castle “—you provided a very nice lap pillow experience” He spoke to her as he pulled the blade out of the ground.
(That ended up sounding creepier than expected XD)
(Wow. It did.)
Adara flushed but laughed. "…Okay? Also, I'd like to see you try to stab me," she teased.
(By creepier than expected, I mean way creepier than expected)
Aisen grinned. “Maybe later, we’ve got company” he pointed his sword at the group of guards heading their way.
"ELM YOU CAN'T JUST DRAG ME INTO A TREE!" Aza yelled, furious.
(Well, this turned uncomfortably silent)
(oof yeah, i'm waiting for alex to respond probably with more yelling…=^w*=)
(Aww, that’s nice)
(Sorry, guys.)
Adara grinned. "Fun!" She disappeared in a burst of fire and reappeared behind them. She spread her hands, and blew apart several soldiers.
(Geez, I almost fell asleep already lol)
The red strips on the fox mask that Aisen wore turned blue. He raised his hand up towards the group, creating a crystal sword rain that pierced most of their spines and some even break as they pierced the guards’ bodies. One of them sneaked up behind Aisen, only to be frozen in mid air by the same kind of crystal. He turned around and sliced the guard’s head open with his now blue longsword.
