Amber hummed her agreement and moved her arms to wrap them around his waist. “That sounds perfect… But you have to carry me.”
Amber hummed her agreement and moved her arms to wrap them around his waist. “That sounds perfect… But you have to carry me.”
William snorted as he bent down and picked her up in his arms. “You say that like I would refuse to carry you.”
Amber chuckled quietly, still affected by what he’d done to her. “I mean, I’ve gained a few pounds, so I wouldn’t be surprised, honestly.”
“You are barely heavy, Blue,” William rolled his eyes. “Are we going to the couch, or your room?”
Amber stuck her tongue out at him, past her still-swollen lips. “Take your pick. I don’t mind either way.”
“Room it is,” William muttered as he carried her to a door and waited for her to open it. “So long since I cuddled with your stupid self. I missed it.”
“Wow, hun, keep the compliments coming. It makes me feel so loved,” Amber chuckled, leaning into him.
“You are loved,” William reminded her as he stepped into the room, closing it shut behind him. He set her on the bed gently before climbing on it himself, laying down beside her and pulling her to him so her back was against his chest.
Amber smiled and scooted back closer to him. “I know… Thank you, Will,” she murmured, taking his hands in her own.
“No, thank you,” William held her hands tighter. “For that day, when you told me I deserved a chance. That was the first time someone had said that to me. It meant a lot.”
“You will always deserve a chance. And a second chance. And a third, fourth, fifth, and so on,” Amber promised, turning her head to kiss his nose.
William chuckled and kissed her back. “Thank you. I’m so glad I have you again…”
Amber grinned and turned all the way around to wrap her arms and legs around him. “And I’m never letting you go.”
“You’d better not,” William pulled her over his chest. “Unfortunately, I’ve claimed you for eternity.”
Amber rightened her limbs around him, resting her chin on his chest. "Mine," she muttered before practically face-planting into his chest.
“Yours,” William promised. “All yours. Every single piece of me, it’s yours.”
Amber smiled against his shirt, though she was a little disappointed that he hadn't laughed at her antics. She was practically squeezing him like an octopus, wrapped around him as she was. She thought she was being funny/cute, anyway.
“What are you doing, Blue?” William asked her in amusement when she squeezed him harder. “It’s cute how small you are yet you’re trying to wrap yourself around me like this.”
Amber grinned and popped up from his chest. "I'm hugging you. What else?" she said, laughter in her voice as she spoke.
“Being weirdly adorable, but what did I expect?” William teased. “I missed this, too.”
"So did I," Amber agreed with a soft laugh, loosening her grip on him slightly. "Gosh, you're wonderful…"
“Only for you,” William murmured, bumping their heads together. “Sing to me.”
"What do you want me to sing?" Amber asked softly, pressing a quick, gentle kiss to his mouth.
“Anything,” William shrugged. “I love anything you sing. Especially when it’s my name.”
Amber hummed, pressing another kiss to his cheek. "Do you know Safe & Sound by Taylor Swift?"
(Boop)
(Sorry! I'm getting to it~)
"I do," William nodded. "This is what you sang four years ago, too, in the music room."
(Lol. Dw)
Amber chuckled, smiling sheepishly. "Right, I almost forgot about that… Well, I can sing that or something new. Your pick."
“Whichever you want,” William kissed her on the forehead. “Anything you want.”
"You're not helpful," Amber murmured with a sigh. "Okay, how about this?
When your legs don't work like they used to before/ And I can't sweep you off of your feet/ Will your mouth still remember the taste of my love/ Will your eyes still smile from your cheeks…"
