Amber closed her eyes, letting out a slightly frustrated groan. “Yes. Yes, you should,” she breathed, tugging him closer. “Or else there will be consequences…”
Amber closed her eyes, letting out a slightly frustrated groan. “Yes. Yes, you should,” she breathed, tugging him closer. “Or else there will be consequences…”
“What sorts of consequences…?” William’s eyes were now barely open, nose touching hers, lips grazing but not pressing. “Tell me about them.”
“No kissing me for twenty-four hours… No teasing me, either. Lots and lots of teasing from me,” Amber murmured. Gosh, why wouldn’t he just kiss her already?
“Well, we can’t have that, can we?” William breathed, kissing the corner of her mouth. “Maybe you should do something about it if you want me to kiss you.”
“Are you saying you’d rather have me initiate?” Amber mumbled, feeling her lips beginning to tremble at his proximity and the lack of kissing.
“Yes,” William kissed the other corner. “I am.”
“Fine, then,” Amber muttered before turning her head to connect their lips in a hard kiss.
William pressed her harder against the door, immediately kissing her back, hands resting on her cheek as his mouth moved against hers hungrily.
Finally. After so long, he was tasting her again. He drank up the feeling, indulged in it if she was ambrosia.
Amber relished the feeling of his lips on hers, moving together in a way that was both hard and reverent. Like it was their first kiss and their last. They were finally back together, and they weren’t wasting any time now.
William growled against her mouth, pressing her closer to him, trying to decrease the little space they had between each other.
“I missed you,” William said into her mouth, pressing his lips harder against hers, moving in synch. “So goddamn much.”
“I missed you, too. So, so much, Will,” Amber breathed shakily in response. There were so many emotions, so many feelings running through her… She nipped at his lower lip, taking it between her teeth and tugging before letting go.
William responded by pushing against her harder, trailing his tongue across her lip, seeking invitation. He was burning up, desperate, filled with need and just Amber.
Amber immediately opened up to him, parting her lips and giving him access to her mouth. She just wanted him, needed him. She never wanted this moment to end…
William was going crazy. For four years, he had been desperate for this moment, to have her pressed against him again. And she was, once again, with her mouth on his, devouring him. He groaned into her mouth, wanting to stay like this forever.
Heat ran through her veins, burning her skin. She was sure her cheeks were flushed, that he could feel her heart racing in her chest.
Gosh, why did he have to be this way? Why did he have to be so ridiculously intoxicating? It was like he was a drug, and she was addicted to him. So dreadfully addicted that a day without him would send her into the worst withdrawals…
“How did I even survive without you?” William growled against her. William didn’t remember. He remembered missing her warmth, her body pressed against him. Sure, he missed kissing her, but he just missed her the most. Just her soothing presence, and now he had it and he was never going to let her go.
He pulled away, rested his forehead against hers and breathed harshly.
“So, Blue,” he whispered. “Is there anyone who’s trying to steal you away from me?”
Amber trembled against him, trying to reconnect their lips even when he pulled away. When he spoke, his low voice sent a tremor through her body. Until she realized what he was saying.
“No. No, there— there is no one,” she assured him, her breathing as harsh as his.
William’s eyes darkened.
“Good…” he whispered in a deep voice. “You’re mine.”
“Always. I will always be yours,” Amber vowed, fisting his shirt in her hands. “And you’re mine.”
“Forever,” William promised. “Everything of mine is yours. Every single thing.”
“Good,” Amber breathed before bringing their lips back together again.
William kissed her back instantly, pulling her off of the door and instead into him. His hands rested on her back as he kissed her, mouth moving against hers in sync. He loved this woman so, so much.
Amber loved this, loved the way she burned through her shirt where he touched her, loved the way their lips moved in sync as if they had never been apart, loved him. And it ignited a fire deep within her.
She pressed closer, wrapping a leg around his to close any space. Her hands gripped his shoulders, then the back of his neck, and then one found its way into his hair. She tugged, hoping to earn a sound from his mouth.
William growled at her actions. He pulled away, trailing kisses down her neck, slowly as if waiting for her to reject the advances. He wasn’t planning on going too far. They’d just gotten each other back. He wasn’t going to take her to bed the first day.
Amber shivered when his lips met her skin. She liked this. She definitely liked this. Immensely. And she knew he wouldn’t go any further than she allowed, which only gave her greater pleasure.
A low groan escaped from her lips as she tilted her head away, giving him more room. Her skin burned where he kissed her, burned so dang hot that she thought she might literally light on fire.
William smirked against her skin when she let out that sound. He gently bit down on the spot, his tongue flicking out to trail the area.
He loved how she knew he wouldn’t go beyond without her permission. The trust she had in him… he hoped he never broke that.
“Will…” Amber breathed, her lips parting slightly at the bite. Gosh, he drove her crazy… How did he still know how to do this to her? How could he still do this to her after all those years?
When William was done with the spot, he pulled away to look at it. The red mark on her neck. He grinned.
“There,” he breathed. “Now everyone will know you’re taken.”
Amber was trembling again by the time he finished, pleasure flowing through her. When he pulled away, whispered those words, she slowly opened her eyes to look at him. “Good. I wouldn’t want it any other way,” she whispered back, her words shaking as much as she was.
William pulled her close, burying his face in her neck. He loved the effect he had on her. He loved it when she trembled like that because it meant he was doing his job right.
“C’mon, let’s cuddle,” he murmured, kissing her neck again.
