“Yep. I can smell his testosterone from over here.” Tiak grimaced, relaxing and moving to stand beside Locux.

"What and who are you?!"
Locux demands to the creature standing in front of them

Jay sighed and put his hands down, "I, am a human thank you very much. My name is Jay."

Tiak looks back and forth between the men, shrugged, and prepared her venom, her venom glands swelling and causing a visible bulge in her upper lip.

"Turn around!" Locux orders to Jay,
"There aren´t many magic users where I come from. So why are you here? Who sent you?"

Jay turned around with a sigh, "I'm here because I can be and no one sent me."

"So you're a freelancer, or are you just and adventurer?"
Locux seemed to be more calm now, only checking if Jay wasn't a menace

"Adventurer."

"Good. You can face us now"
Locux relaxed , the tension he was feeling on his shoulers vanished

Jay faced them and frowned, "And who are you two?"

"The name's Locux, leader of the Twice Pact. Sorry for the outburst, but you can´t really be too careful around here"

"True, well I suppose it's nice to meet you." Jay lightly smiled.

“I’m…” Tiak forgot about her venom, and had to spit it out through her mouth to get rid of the excess, her saliva neutralizing it.
“I’m Tiak. Nice to meet you.” She grins at Jay, again exposing her truly horrific set of teeth.

"So what brings you around here Jay?" Locux asked unfased by the venom Tiak just spat

"Nothing much, just looking for something fun to do." Jay said, raising an eyebrow at Tiak.

“What?” Tiak asked, noticing Jay’s funny look.

"Nothing…" Jay said, looking away.

Tiak shrugged, guessing Jay wasn’t used to creatures with venom.

"Is there anything else your nose tells you Tiak?"
Locux asked only to see if he had missed something about Jay

Tiak sniffed the air again, searching for the scents of metal and magic, which could indicate weapons.
(What would she smell about him? Does he have any concealed metal objects or particularly magical items?)

Jay shifted uncomfortably, realizing Tiak would probably pick up that he was part fae. He stepped back rubbing his neck.

"Assuming he is who he says he is, he probably has something to defend himself"

Tiak stepped closer, sniffing around his body.
“He’s not human, that’s for sure. I also smell a lot of magic, and -“ Tiak used her teeth to pull a dagger out of its hiding place.
“This,” she said, after spitting it out on the ground.

"Speaking of… where did you learn to do that? Does it come naturaly to you?"
Locux slithered towards Jay in curiosity

Jay stood uncomfortably, his teeth clenched, "Don't touch me…" He hissed picking up the dagger.

"Why shouldn't we? Do you consider us a menace to your well being?"

"Well, I don't know… maybe, this one-" He jerked a finger at Tiak, "Might…and you…I don't know anything about you."

"Just know that I won't hurt you unless you hurt me, my Pact or any innocent beign here"
