Amber smiled up at him softly and reached up to peck his lips. “All right. If you insist.”
Amber smiled up at him softly and reached up to peck his lips. “All right. If you insist.”
“Jesus Christ, she was right,” William heard Jude gasp. “Parker, did you manage to get that video?”
William shifted his gaze behind his girlfriend, scowling when he saw Parker hold up his phone.
“I did,” the older player breathed out. “I’ve sent it to all of my emails. And you guys. And I’ve saved the video to iCloud, too.”
William rolled his eyes, bending down to peck Amber’s cheeks. “Be right back, love,” he told her with a grim smile. “I’ve got morons to murder.”
Amber snorted and tightened her hold on him. “No murdering your teammates. You need them alive and healthy for your games.”
“I can find replacements,” William insisted. “The guys on the the bench can finally have a solid chance at court.”
“Sorry, hun, but I won’t let you,” Amber chuckled. “C’mon, let’s head home so we can eat and cuddle.”
William let Amber pull him along, but not without turning back to gove his teammates a chilling glare that said, ”You aren’t safe yet.”
“You came here on your car, didn’t you? William murmured, breathing down on Amber’s neck on purpose.
Amber coughed, his breath down her neck causing shivers to run down her spine. “Yeah. Yeah, I did,” she answered, casting a glance in his direction.
William merely smiled innocently, as if he wasn’t doing anything. “Great. I didn’t bring mine. So lead the way to your car, Blue.”
“Mmhm,” Amber hummed, pulling her keys from her pocket. “It’s just over here.”
“Perfect,” William murmured, tugging her towards the car. “Guess who I’m distracting today?”
Amber glanced over at him with a tiny smile. “Hm… The guys?” she joked asthey reached the car.
William pressed her against the car, staring deeply into her pretty eyes, nearing closer until his lips barely touched hers.
“I’m sure you know my answer,” he murmured, his breath fanning her mouth. And right before he bent down to clasp their lips together, he moved back and shot her a smirk. He didn’t look back at her as he walked towards the passenger side.
Amber’s heart skipped a beat when he pressed her up against the car, her breath catching. She breathed heavily when he pulled away, closing her eyes for a moment before pushing herself off the car.
“Y-yeah, yeah…” she breathed, turning back around and shakily unlocking the car. Gosh, he knew just how to get to her…
William smiled at her, chuckling and shaking his head. Ah, his beloved. Look at how flustered she was. It pleased him to no end.
When she finally unlocked her car, he slid inside and pulled the seatbelt on before he turned his eyes towards his woman.
“Did you want me to kiss you back there?” William teased, cocking his head to the side.
Amber buckled her seatbelt before looking over at her boyfriend and narrowing her eyes. “What do you think?” she murmured slowly.
“Why wouldn’t you?” William winked at her, his lips quirking into smirk. “You can kiss me as much as you want when we get home.”
Amber hummed and started the car, turning her attention back to driving home. “And we make use of that very well.”
“The best part is when you say my name,” William smiled at her. Though he was trying to tease her, he hoped she didn’t stiffen at the meaning. He didn’t mean anything by it. He didn’t want to go beyond what they’ve been doing, not until she said so herself. He hoped she knew he was more than happy to wait. “It makes my blood burn.”
Amber felt her neck and cheeks burn, knowing that they were turning bright red. William… What was she going to do with him?
“Hm, good to know,” she mumbled flusteredly as she pulled out of her parking space and onto the road.
“Well, we wouldn’t want you to crash, so I’ll stop my teasing until we get home,” William rested his head, closing his eyes. “You’re irresistible, so don’t count on my silence.”
"Like you're ever silent, anyway," Amber managed to tease, glancing over her shoulder to check for traffic before changing lanes.
“With you around, silence has never been an option,” William responded smoothly. “Hearing your voice is like listening to music. I can never get tired of it.”
Amber shot him a quick half-smirk, her cheeks still flushed some. "Good. Because you're going to have to live with it for quite a while."
“How is that a bad thing?” William looked at her, fingers twitching to hold her. “I’d prefer to hear it more often. They don’t even have to be proper words.”
Amber's eyebrows quirked up, and she glanced over at him curiously. He could either have meant that innocently or have had a hidden meaning behind the words, the latter of which she wouldn't have been surprised about.
"You, boyfriend, sure know how to get to a girl, don't you?" she mumbled under her breath as she pulled into the parking spot near the dorm.
William smiled thinly. “No, girlfriend. I know how to get to you.” He unclasped the seatbelt, opening the door and stepping out. He was hungry, though he didn’t know which he wanted more. Food, or his girlfriend. He didn’t let himself finish that thought.
Amber half hummed, half grunted as she slid out of the car. "Yeah, yeah… Anyway, should we do spaghetti and garlic bread? Or maybe something simpler? Like a salad?"
“Spaghetti and garlic bread sounds good,”
William stretched. “We do have enough ingredients for them, right? Nothing I need to grab?”
"No, we've got everything. Do you want cheese on your garlic bread?" Amber wondered, making her way over to William and linking her arm through his.
William nodded, grabbing her arm and pulling it up to give it a kiss. “I like cheese as much as I like you,” he said to her seriously. “If not a little less.”
