Oh, thanks.
Oh, thanks.
I have found PERFECTION!
I'VE SEEN THAT! I love it so much, and I make references to it all the time.
YEET
what is it (it doesn't show up here)?
Grandma Yeet!
YES BECCCC!
Yay I finally turned in my stupid essay. But it's also my last essay of the semester.
You're lucky Bec, I still have hundreds of essays to do. I also have my exams in a couple of weeks which I am not looking forward to. If I fail these exams I am not allowed to carry on any of my courses
Oh, I don't really take much in English/writing. Just the one class. I'm a STEM major, so I mostly have lab reports and exams to do. Two weeks until finals.
(The topic was really bland and dumb though. It was an argumentative essay on "is technological advancement good or bad?")

The answer is obviously mixed

It's argumentative and we had to have counterarguments, so we had to pick a side. So I picked the "it's more good than bad" side. Honestly 90% of the "more bad than good" arguments my classmates had were eye-roll-inducing. Like please. You can't cite fictional movies to say AI is going to take over. You can't use old studies and popular sources that use self-reported surveys to say technology causes depression. That said, they were easy arguments to debunk. I also went with the original intent of technology, which was to make lives easier- and that means inherently technology is good, but some people choose to use it for bad things.

A makeshift Sunday school?
I agree with you Bec. It ain't fucking smartphones that are leading the world down the toilet.
I have a whole rant about that, but I'll save it for another time.
I couldn't agree more. I almost started that whole rant in my essay, but I had to stop myself. My thought is that depression causes more tech use as an escape, not the other way around, but no one's really bothered to prove that through actual experimentation.
Ah.. You guys are starting to sound like Daro..

A makeshift Sunday school?
As in it wasn't planned and there's no lesson but now I'm watching a bunch of little kids and not all of them are my siblings.

Hmmmm.

Well, is it going alright? I've had to deal with a bunch of little kids plenty of times before, and they can be quite the handful.

Most of them went back upstairs to their parents so now I'm left with 2.
There were really only 4 kids, a pair of cousins who aren't related to me, and 2 of my younger sisters, and then the baby.. but It's cool..
Little kids like me and I like them.
That's good. I thought you meant like a whole horde of preschoolers, which can potentially be a nightmare. (Let's just say I volunteered at a summer camp once, and bringing 4-year-olds on a hiking trail isn't the best idea.)

What sane person would EVER try that?!?????
And yeah, Ive got like.. 8 to 3? Yrs old here… oh and a parent came down.
Yes I will reply to our RP bec, I just wanna do it on my chromebook if possible.
It was a summer camp at our local wildlife refuge. I used to take field trips down there as a kid all the time. The child-adult ratio was just too high, though. There was only one adult there, and me, a 16-year-old at the time. Nothing really bad happened (aside from half of the group, including the adult getting chigger bites everywhere), but they were just a mess and didn't want to listen to me. And it was hot and humid and gross because Georgia summers suck. Also volunteer work, so I didn't get paid, even though I was there for 5 days and it was basically a 9-5 work day. 2/10.
And I understand! It doesn't matter when you respond. Take as long as you need.
Okay, this is slightly random but I need some feedback…
Here are two different concepts for one of my characters. With each design, what personality, superpower, age, backstory, hobbies, etc would you imagine her having? You don't have to go into detail, maybe just list off the first things that come to mind.
Thank you!
(I'm trying to figure out what she might look like so I can continue developing her)
(I'm not sure if I'm liking the ribbons on the second design…)
