William turned on the tap to wash the dishes. “Sweetheart, basketball isn’t the only sport I know,” he grinned at her, letting her think he meant something else. “But hey, whatever you say.”

Amber coughed, feeling her cheek with the back of her hand. Gosh, why did he have to do this to her? He knew just how to get under her skin. But she knew how to do the same to him…

“Hun, I know certain sports very well,” she replied, fighting her blush down as she grinned over at him. “But that doesn’t mean I play the game at the moment.”

William nearly choked, the dish he was drying nearly falling from his hold. What in the world did she just say? He cleared his throat, gathering his bearings.

“Perhaps you could show me how you play some day,” William shot back, returning her smirk. “I’m looking forward to it.”

“Yeah… Maybe some day,” Amber murmured, sighing softly. Don’t throw that away again… Remember how it ended last time? “Anyway, are you almost done their? We should go do some more cuddling… and making out.”

William tilted his head, looking at her curiously. Now he was sure. Something had happened to her in her previous relationships, and it made him furious. Whoever made her like this… he was going to break him.

“Yeah, I’m done,” William answered softly, putting the dishes away once he finished drying. “You should have said that earlier. I would have washed them quicker.”

Amber chuckled and walked over to him, wrapping her arms around him. She tilted her head back to grin up at him. “We can cuddle in my bed if you want. That way we don’t have to squish onto the couch.”

“Will you be okay with that?” William questioned softly, turning around to wrap his arms around her. He gently ran his fingers through her soft, blue hair. “We can still make the couch work. It doesn’t have to be the bed if you aren’t okay with it.”

“No, no. It’s fine. I just… I know we won’t go very far. So it’s okay,” Amber insisted softly, leaning into his hand.

“Well, if it’s all right with you,” William bent down to press their foreheads together. “I would like that.”

Amber smiled and reached up to kiss him gently. “Great. But that involves you letting me go so that we can walk.”

William sighed dramatically, letting her go.

“I guess I can keep my hands to myself for a few more minutes,” he quirked an eyebrow. “Despite how hard doing that is.”

Amber chuckled softly and stuck her tongue out playfully. “You’ll live for a couple minutes. Honestly, it’s not like it’s that far away,” she teased.

William’s eyes darkened as he looked at her tongue before his gaze returned to her eyes.

“Well, good thing for that, right?” He murmured. “The closer it is, the sooner I can put my tongue in your mouth.”

Amber coughed again, ignoring the heat in her cheeks. “R-right. Definitely,” she murmured as she took a step back and towards her room. “Let’s, uh… Let’s do that, then, yeah?”

“Of course,” William followed after her, grinning wickedly. “Let’s do that.”

Amber returned his grin with a smaller one of her own before she turned around and started for her room. When she reached her door, she paused, standing in the doorway after opening the door. She let out a slow breath before stepping inside and sitting down on the edge of her bed, facing him with a wider grin.

William kept his eyes on her as he took slow steps towards her, closing the door behind him. He took a seat next to her, pulling her into his arms again.

“Well,” he breathed against her ear. “What is it that you want, Blue?”

Amber couldn't hide the shiver that ran down her spine at the way he looked at her and the way he murmured to her. She let out a slow breath before turning herself around and pushing herself into his lap. She wrapped her legs around his waist, straddling him just so that she could kiss him better.

She placed her hands on his chest, palms flat against him, and looked into his eyes. "I want you to do as you please… Within reason," she whispered, adding the last bit as a small reminder of sorts.

William would be lying if he said he took her actions calmly. He didn’t. His heart hammered wildly in his chest and he felt his breath quicken when she straddled him, setting her palms on his chest. He hoped she could feel his heartbeat and realize the reason it was going crazy was her.

His hand reached out to trail her mouth from one corner to the other. He licked his suddenly dry lips and it was at that moment that William realized his girlfriend was truly a goddess in the skin of a human.

“Within reason,” William murmured as a promise, dipping his head down to kiss the corner of her mouth, grazing her lips lightly before he kissed the other corner. He rested a hand on her back as support before his head descended again, finally capturing her lips into a kiss.

Amber let out another slow breath as he kissed the corners of her lips. When he finally took them fully, she kissed him back, keeping it slow initially. This time, she wanted to go slower, to take their time. She wanted to be able to have his mouth memorized by the time they were done.

She moved her hands from his chest and wrapped her arms around his neck. She just let them hang loose, not burying her fingers in his hair this time.

William’s mouth moved against hers slowly. William wasn’t used to the gentility he displayed when kissing Amber, but he couldn’t say he disliked it. He liked kissing her slowly and softlt, because that way when he tasted her, he could savor everything. From the way her soft lips molded into his to the heat produced.

William’s free hand cupped her cheek, thumb rubbing gentle circles. He would never tell her in case she took it to her head, but she was an excellent kisser. She certainly knew what she was doing. By that, he meant she knew how to get to him through her mouth.

Amber leaned slightly closer to him, holding him close. She liked this. A lot. It was nice to have someone who you could just talk to or, as they were right now, make out with basically whenever you wanted.

It was different with William than it was with any of the other guys she'd dated. He was gentle and soft with her, even when she could tell that all he wanted to do was completely take her. The other guys… Well, they'd been in it for pure pleasure, not for the simple parts of the relationship. They'd wanted her for her body, while William seemed to like her for more than that.

After gently biting down on her lip, William pulled away and instead buried his face in the crook of her neck, breathing her in deeply. He tightened his hold on her, pulling her closer to him.

“You know,” he finally spoke, amusement lacing his tone. “You collapsed on that spot right there the night we slept together. I nearly hit you with the door when you told me to pick you up.”

Amber groaned a little and glared at his head. "I thought we weren't going to talk about drunk Amber? She does dumb things…" she muttered.

William chuckled, placing a soft kiss on her collarbone. “Well, I for one enjoy drunk you,” I told her. “You looked at me with those eyes of yours and told me to stay. I couldn’t bring myself to say no, especially when you held your arms open like that.”

Amber made a strangled sound in her throat, tightening her arms around his neck. "Shh….. I don't like drunk me. Most of the time."

“Well, unfortunately, I like drunk you,” William chuckled, poking her nose. “So there’s nothing you can really do about it. Though I hope to never see her again.”

"Yeah, yeah…" Amber muttered before burying her face in his neck. She nuzzled him gently, letting a puff of breath go over his neck as she breathed out. Payback for teasing her…

William froze when she nuzzled him breathed down on his neck as she did so. His hold on her waist tightened as he breathed out. “You, Rabbit, are nothing but trouble,” he groaned.

"Hm… I'm aware," Amber murmured against his shoulder. "And I think I like 'Blue' better than 'Rabbit."
