He waved as he left, frowning slightly. "I swear, that place doesn't give a shit about people." He muttered, scratching his cat's head. "Mercury, you need to move." The cat meowed indignantly. "Because I need to shower!"
((Time skip?))
(Sure)
Quince came home more tired then he was when he had left. There had been so many people, including the occasional cat caller, which Quince despised, “Hey Jack…” He said as he walked through the door and flopped on the couch.
"Hey Quince." He said, moving to sit next to him. "What demon possessed the general public today?" He asked, smiling softly at him. "Anything worth having a drink over?"
“Too many important people…and cat callers. You know how much I hate those kinds of people…” He muttered into the couch before sitting up and rubbing his eyes, “And yes, a drink sounds fantastic. All the idiots there were getting boozed up with the wine.”
He stood, grabbing some beers from the fridge. "I swear, people are mostly pieces of shit. I lost count of how many soccer moms yelled at me for something stupid. And if I have to write 'Mrs. Justin Beiber' on a cup one more time-" He said, laughing as he passed his roommate a bottle as he pat the other's head. Because boy is never sure how to show affection.
Quince caught it and lightly smiled when Jack pat his head, “Some people are great. But then there’s the other 90% of the world who are all shit heads.” He laughed and shook his head, “God damn, my shift always has very important people who get pissed at everything I do wrong, entitled parents complaining when I don’t do something right away for their bratty child, or stupid cat callers trying to grab me and get my number.” He took a drink of beer and sighed
"Yeah, no good." He plopped down next to him, taking a swing from his own bottle. "But your out now."
“Thank god for that.” He looked over to Jack, “When does your shift start?”
"In about two hours. I'm only having one drink, promise." He added quickly, smiling. "Can't wait to have Mrs. Holier than thou scream at me for something trivial today. What do you think it'll be?"
“Not sure…” Quince pretended to think about it, “Probably something stupid!” He said with a smile. Then he yawned, “While you’re at work I think I’m going to sleep…”
"Good call." He said, nodding. "Seriously, you need it." He watched Mercury jump in the other's lap. "Oh, so I put you in my bed so I can take a shower and you don't love me anymore? Betrayal." He said the cat, glaring playfully.
Quince laughed and gently patted the cats head. He smirked, “I guess I’m just more loveable.” He watched the cat rub against him and continued petting him.
"Oh, fuck you." He said, poking him. Or fuck m- nope. Holding off the gay thoughts about my roommate. Get your shit together brain.
Quince smiled, I wouldn’t mind that…nope nope nope, not the time to think about that… He sighed and glanced at the clock, “You should get ready soon…”
He looked up. "Yeah, probably should." He said, putting the bottle down and standing. "Let me know if Mercury starts going crazy again."
“Yessir!” He looked at Mercury as Jack left the room, “You’re going to be good, right?” That cat purred in response
He went into his room, trowing on his work shirt and apron, and trading his combat boots for some sneakers.
Quince waited for him to emerge from his room as Mercury purred and batted lightly at his face, he smiled, thinking about Jack.
He tied the apron a bit better behind him as he walked out, sighing slightly. "Dear fuck, I hate this job." He said, pulling at the shirt sleeves.
Quince chuckled and stared at him for a moment before blushing lightly and turning back to the cat, “I hate my job as well, but we need money.”
"I know…" He muttered. "Guess I'll be heading out." He walked over to the couch, kissing the cat on the head. "Don't be a little shit while Quince rests, ya hear me?" He asked it, before standing.
“He’ll be fine. Besides I have to deal with you!” Quince laughed and poked Jack teasingly, “Just kidding!”
He rolled his eyes affectionately. "I'll see ya tonight." He said, walking out. He face palmed the second the door closed behind him. "I'll see you tonight?" Really? It sounded like a date!
“Byeee!” Quince giggles and hugged Mercury affectionately, he then picked him and started heading to his room, “He made it sound like a date…though I’m sure he didn’t mean that way…” he blushed at the thought of them dating, “Oh god…I love him so much!” He got in bed with Mercury next to him and quickly fell asleep.

Also, time skip?))
((Quince is a sweetheart I love him))
Jack finally got home, kicking the door shut behind him. "Quince? You up? I picked up some take out!" He said, dropping the food in the kitchen. "Quince?"
Quince groaned softly as he heard Jacks voice and sat up, yawning, “Coming…” he said tiredly and quickly changed into a hoodie and jeans after realizing he still had his uniform on. He walked out of his room with his hair messy and all over the place as Mercury ran past him and jumped up into the counter.
(Aw thank you, I really love Jack as well.)
((Thank you so much!))
Jack smiled softly, blushing a bit. Fuck, he's hot-NO! "Come, I bring food!" He said, dramatically gesturing with one arm as he pat Mercury with the other.
