Aight so this idea just popped into my mind and fluff is what I need right now. So in this one on one rp, there’s either going to be a prince/princess(this’ll be an either straight or gay rp) and a male servant(my character), the servant is the royalties main servant and the parents of the prince/princess want the prince/princess to find love and get married. The royalty talks to the servant all about their problems and stuff. Once the royalty realizes they can’t fall in love someone because they’re in love with the servant, things go on an interesting ride after that. The royalties parents are very against their child marrying a servant so like low key this might have some angst but my main pursue is fluff and that this rp doesn’t die.
I’ll be the servant as I said above and he’ll be a male. So you can either use a male or female. Please ask before joining and you have the power to decide whether there is swearing or not and whether we go in blind or with templates.
I hope someone’s interested in this…the whole thing after reading it doesn’t make to much sense to me but ya know…
screechs in on a scooter May I?
Uh…. Blind, let’s be scandalous lol
Swearing if that’s cool wit you and my character is a male and bi-sexual
Yeah swearing is great and cool! Do you want to start it or do you want me to? Whichever is fine with me
Jay left the servants tower early in the morning and headed to the kitchen to make breakfast and tea for the prince. As he made batter for pancakes and put them on the stove to cook, Jay began to get the cart ready with silverware, a cup of tea, sugar, milk, and napkins. When the pancakes were ready to be flipped, he flipped them and grabbed a nice plate from a nearby cupboard and slid the finished pancakes onto it. He put the plate with its cover on the cart and pushed it out of the kitchen, heading directly to the prince’s room.
(Sorry it’s a bit long, it doesn’t have to be like that through the rp)
Dorian was awake most of the night, as per usual, bogged down with papers and work his father asked him to complete. His bright blue eyes scanned each page a thousand times over, his jet black hair falling over his face as he did so. Sometimes he wished he wasn’t a prince. Currently, he had a tanned arm holding his head up as he sat at his desk, his eyes shut as soft snores passed his lips.
Jay reached Prince Dorian’s room and lightly knocked on the door, his other hand firmly grasping the cart, “Your Highness?” He paused to quickly glance at the cart, making sure everything was there, he clicked his tongue in approval after seeing it was, “I have your breakfast, sir. May I come in?”
The knocking awoke Dorian from his light sleep, making him jump slightly as he did so, “Y-Yes! Yes, you can come in.” He replied, taking his reading glasses off so he could rub his face with both hands to look a little more awake.
Jay opened the door slowly and pushed the cart in before entering himself. He looked at Dorian and smiled, “Hello, your Highness. How are you this morning?” He lifted the covering off the pancakes and presented the meal, “This is your breakfast. Please let me know if it’s not to your liking.”
Dorian rolled his eyes with a smile, Jay’s presence already lifting his mood, “Jay, please, I’ve told you, call me Dorian,” He looked at the meal and grinned, “Everythinuyoi make is to my liking and as always, this looks wonderful, thank you.”
Jay lightly blushed and spoke again, “Ah, yes of course. Terribly sorry your high—Er Dorian.” He stopped for a second ashamed of his mistake, “I’m glad you like your meal. Do you need anything else before I leave?”
Dorian looked up at Jay and smiled softly at him, “Sit with me, while I eat. I’d enjoy the company this morning.” He took a sip of his tea before starting on the pancakes. As always, they were just to his liking.
Jay smiled back at him and ran his hand quickly through his messy, platinum blonde hair, "If you insist, Dorian.". He sat down next to him, "Anything on your mind? I bet you're excited for the ball to see if you can find a love that's happening tonight…"
Dorian sighed softly and shook his head a little, “Everyone keeps saying that, but what if I don’t want to get married? Or, what if I do, but it’s not to a woman? What if I…” There were to many thoughts circulating for Dorian to think straight.
Jay frowned and looked slightly confused, "What do you want? It's obvious to me you may or may not want marriage and that you have no interest in woman…" Jay wanted to scoot over and comfort the prince, but he knew it was strictly prohibited and he wasn't one to break the rules.
Dorian rubbed at his chin, “It’s… complicated. I… I never said I didn’t have no interest in women, I do, I just prefer men. But no, that’s not allowed according to my father and having to marry a woman is starting to put me off marriage altogether,” He sighed, “I wish mother was here and not… dead. She’d know what do to, surely.”
Jay looked at him with sympathy, "Oh dear…I wish I knew how to help, but I don't. Your mother truly was a wonderful woman. You mustn't dwell on the past though.". Jay cringed as he realized that his last statement was something the king always said to Dorian. "Sorry…I'd better he getting back to work…". He sighed and stood up.
“Wait,” Dorian stood up with him, looking down slightly at Jay, “Are you going to the ball? I mean, are you going to go and if so, are you going with anybody?” Her an a hand through his hair, ruffling it slightly, “Because if not..l would you like to go with me?”
Jay froze, his heart pounding, "Well…I…oh no…" He took a deep breath and guiltily met his eyes, "I'm so sorry Dorian. I'm one of the main servers tonight and I'd get in so much trouble if I didn't do my job. I hope you understand…" Not wanting to see his reaction, Jay quickly left with the cart, his face down.
Dorian watched him go, a sinking feeling in his heart, “Yes… I understand…” He muttered, slumping back down in his chair and staring up at the ceiling. He didn’t know why the rejection hurt as much as it did.
