Sage set Charity down next to a large door with an ornate archway, "stay here I'm going to go check on every one else, they have to take the elevator." He flew back down, " The elevator would be that way." He pointed towards the base of one of the buildings.
"Well, good to chat, but I have things to attend to." Laelyn spread her wings and shot violently, quickly, into the air, a blur of black, silver, and purple.
Laelyn loved flying. She felt free and pure and whole like this. Twisting in the air, she stuck out her arms and felt the air flow through her fingers. Beating her wings hard, she gained speed, blazing like a bullet.

Charity flinched a little away from the girl in surprise. "Oh, hi… I didn't… see you there…"
"Sorry." Laelyn frowned. "I hope you know I don't try to be scary."
"No, you just landed really… suddenly," Charity said quietly.
"Oh. Well. What should we do now?"
"I-I'm waiting for Sage to get back," she said slowly.
