She turned back to face Rio with a smile. "Oh my dear Rio, I would listen but I also don't care. What's he gonna do? Nothing. At least nothing here at the office." She shrugged. "I'll be fine. And even if I'm not, whatever. I'm going through enough pain and suffering, adding some more won't make much of a difference."
"Fiona…" Rio facepalmed, "It's obvious you aren't gonna listen to me. So don't get mad if you make both our lives hell for the next week." he said turning to hide in his office, visibly paling when he saw how tense Rashi was.
She noticed too, but she just waved with a smile and turned back to her work. "You have a death wish." "Jess I've had one of those since I was 14, get with the program."
Rashi took a deep breath, doing his best to hold in, and not turn his fury on her. Carefully he set the printer up again, and went back to his computer, restarted the process, then came back out.
"See? I told you I'd be fine." Jessie just sighed. "You're insane." "I prefer to be called mentally unstable." "Fiona…" "Just saying!"
Rashi growled quietly, taking his papers and heading swiftly back into his office. One more…. just one more prank and I won't be able to hold back… he thought.
"You have something planned, don't you?" "Of course I do." "He's going to flip." "I would love to see that." "He's actually going to kill you." "You say that like I should care."
Rio could feel the bottled up fury from his brother 4 floors down. He had gone there to deliver papers. He was also really hoping that Rashi didn't explode, since he knew it would mean a nasty sparring match, and some very bad bruising.
"One of these days Fiona, you're going to push someone too far and end up dead in a back alley somewhere." "Yes, and it will be glorious." "Weirdo."
Rashi rustled through papers, then realized he needed a new pen. Swearing colorfully under his breath he left yet again to get a new one.
She watched him pass again and smiled to herself, knowing he'd have to go into the supply closet which she just so happened to plan that the light bulb would go out as soon as he stepped in so he couldn't turn on the light.
Rashi stepped into the closet, sighing as the light didn't turn on. He light up a green glow as he rustled for a pen. Walking calmly back out to the main room, "Hey Fiona? Mind letting the janitor know that the lightbulb in the supply closet burnt out two days ago?" he asked, his tone triumphant since he knew she'd been planning something.
"Really? I just replaced it yesterday, are you sure?" She let the light turn on again as a different person went in and turned the light on, making her glance at Rashi with a weird look. "See? It still works!"
Rashi rolled his eyes, "I highly suggest not messing with me further. I can literally make your life hell, without abusing power at work." he said. His tone was low, firm, and held just a hint of the bottled up fury.
"I'd like to see you try." She challenged before finally turning back to her work.
Rashi closed his eyes, really and truly trying to keep it in but he couldn't any longer. He was barely able to control it as his fury burst from his shields, landing on Fiona. He knew this would hurt, it give her an unbearable headache by the end of the day, it's make it hard to think, and it would conflict with her own emotions. Normally he'd regret this, but not today. Today: He'd been pushed too far.
She noticed the difference, knowing she'd finally made him snap. And she didn't regret it. The pain didn't feel any worse than the usual headache she always had.
Rashi sighed, knowing he couldn't contain the full flow for long. he stumbled back to his office, crumpling to his knees as his shields broke, a torrent of negative emotions pouring out, overwhelming emotions from the entire day, all of them directed solely at Fiona.
What the twins didn't know about her was all the stress and drama and constant negativity of her own thoughts usually so this didn't even bother her.
(These are foriegn emotions, her mind might be able to handle it but her body shouldn't…..)
Rio sighed when he felt Rashi's auras release, "Looks like I'm not gonna have a great week…." he said to himself groaning at the thought of what happened last time.
(You have to specify these things!)
However the tension in her body and the twitching of her fingers was almost unnatural. Okay, something's up.
(Sorry! I forgot that most people don't get the biology lesson on the basics of how a brain works! XD)
Rashi felt himself quivering, emotion blinding his thoughts, he reached up to flick the lock, knowing he just had to ride it out.
(As a homeschooler with a weird mom I did an entire 'course' On that…)
Probably revenge. Whatever, it's nothing I can't handle. She tried her best to ignore it and just continue on with her day, which wasn't all that difficult.
At the end of the day Rio was at Rashi's office door, asking for him to come out.
By the end of the day, her neck was killing her with tension but she didn't complain. Of course she didn't, that's what she did.
Rio glared at her, as if to say, "you broke my brother"
She just smiled sweetly. "I didn't do anything, you two started this."
Rio sighed, wishing they were alone, the last thing he wanted to do was trash the office out of anger.
"You broke the twins, good job Fiona." "Hey, they started it. I just finished it." "By torturing them?" "Yep!"
