She kept her attention on the gem around her neck, making sure it didn't slip off or fall. This was fun but she wasn't drowning today.

Rio saw her nervousness about the gem. "It doesn't have to be around your neck if you're worried, you just have to be wearing or holding it for it to work…"

"Yeah but knowing me I'm going to drop it and drown." She shrugged.

"So we'll wrap it around your wrist a few times or something" he said, making it clear that he didn't want her feeling uncomfortable.

She snapped her wrists to her chest. "Um…that might not be the smartest idea…"

Rio flicked away sheepishly, "I doubt it's gonna come off either way…"

"Still, one can't help but worry." She chuckled softly, making light of the suddenly tense situation.

Rio jumped on the sudden change in the mood, "I know," he said, "Come on, I'll show you haw to get the oysters open!"

"Okay, relax siren, I'm going!" She laughed, swimming over to the ledge.

"I'm not a siren!" Laughed Rio. "I'm an Aquarios Demias!"

"You're my siren." She winked with a smile, giggling to herself.

"I don't sing." Said Rio, laughing.

"Doesn't mean I wouldn't jump in the water and drown for you." She giggled, knowing she was absolutely shamelessly flirting.

"Don't drown!" Said Rio, laughing happily.

"No promises!" She smiled innocently.

Rio frowned a little, but shrugged it off as he led her a bit deeper, searching the bottom.

She glanced around at the life around her, watching with a somewhat amazed look in her eye.

Rio smiled when he saw her face. "Beautiful isn't it?"

"Prettier than I am, that's for sure." She laughed.

"Fiona you are way more beautiful than the reef." Said Rio firmly.

(Soooo…safe to say Rio is the one that fell for her? 😂😂)
"If only I believed you."

"I'll make you believe me" said Rio gently.

"Oh yeah? Prove it." She crossed her arms with a slight smirk.

Rio smirked, taking her arm and pulling her into the reef, "Your hair's more brilliant than that coral, and your eyes more beautiful than those," he began comparing her features to everything around them, managing to find a compliment for everything.

She just let him pull her along, his words dyeing her cheeks bright red. She couldn't help it, it wasn't often that she was complimented.

Rio continued to compare and compliment using every sort of fish and coral around them, even his own scales!

"Rio I swear to God if you don't shut up in the next five seconds, I'm going to kiss you and you can't hold that against me." Her words left her mouth before her brain could analyze them.

Rio grinned, "I'll shut up if you really want me to." he said, "Though I can't say I'd argue against a kiss from the beautiful creature in front of me."

"That's it, you asked for it." She couldn't help but smile before tugging his lips onto her own.
