"Uh huh. I'm sure you are." She stormed back into the house, beyond embarrassed and wishing she could go back in time to redo that particular incident.

He followed after her, immediately feeling bad.

She went into the kitchen, yanked open the freezer door, and pulled out a tub of ice cream. Eating your feelings away. Smart move, Hunt. Smart move. She internally rolled her eyes at her actions. But now ice creams sounds good, so fuck it. She found as spoon and dug in, ignoring the source of her heated face.

He walked up behind her and wrapped his arms over her shoulders. "I'm soooooory."

She sighed, already giving in to his adorableness, but didn't deign to acknowledge him. Hmm, his scent is quite nice. How'd I never notice?
What the fuck am I even thinking!?

"I'mma nibble on your ear if you don't acknowledge me." Am I really?

She decided to call his bluff again. He wouldn't. She scooped up a large chunk of ice cream. Would he?

Oh shit, I can't wuss out a third time.
His teeth lightly brushed against her ear, barely applying any pressure but enough to be considered a "nibble."
What the hell did I just do?

She froze. Did he… just…? She was tempted to look at him, but wanted to play just a little more. She ate her spoonful of ice cream, still ignoring him. Her heart pounded wildly.

"What, do I have to bite harder?" He asked, his face a blushing mess.

"Hmm." She stabbed at the ice cream again, humming a song that popped into her head.

He hesitated, and then bit her ear one again, holding it for a moment before pulling away covering his face.
Why did I do it again? I already proved my point, and now I look like a bumbling idiot.

She couldn't help the smile slowly forming. He's definitely new to this. She ate one more spoonful of ice cream, set the tube down, then turned around and faced Runner, her hands braced on the counter on either side of her.

"Well, finally," he said through his hands.

She smirked. Revenge is mine.

"That was planned out, wasn't it?"

"Improv," was all she said.

He pulled his hands away, his face still a deep red.

"And we never speak of them again," she said.

He nodded, smiling sheepishly.

She smiled back. "Beach or no?" I have a new bikini I wanna try out.

He nodded, still too embarrassed to speak.

She slid past him, patting his shoulder. "I'll be back."

He leaned against the counter and sighed, covering his face again.

She went back upstairs, taking her time to let Runner get over his embarrassment. "Help yourself to the ice cream!" she called. Then she slipped into her room, searching for the new bikini. Then she paused, hesitating. Do I really want to wear it around him? She chewed her lip as she thought about it, squirming in self-consciousness.

He decided against the ice cream, throwing the spoon into the sink and putting the lid back on the container before putting it into the freezer.

Fuck it. She changed into the dark blue bikini, wrapping a semitransparent bathing suit cover around her and pulling her hair up into a pony tail, then slowly made her way down the stairs.

He turned to her, starting to say, "You know, I don't have a bathing suit," but not even making it half way. He blinked a few times, the blush returning to his face once again.

She smiled nervously at him, wrapping the cover tighter around her. "Ah… hi?"

"Hi…" he choked out, quickly turning away from her.
