The class started quickly and she began taking notes, bouncing her leg and humming lightly as she did. She started thinking about what Jasper was doing and she shook her head, forcing herself to focus on the class so he wouldn't be disappointed in her.
"You don't need to call me that, I'm divorced remember?" she giggled "so dinner, my place?"
"ahh, i can't. plans." he glared at her as he moved to the center of the room "ready guys?"
The woman left with a huff, pulling her daughter along." come now Missy, we're not wanted here."
Jasper shook his head, disappointed that Missy had to leave on accounts of her mother's behavior
The class continued on quickly with Scarlett getting a few assignments and several pages of notes. Her mind wasn't fully there as the class continued though, she was daydreaming.
Jasper turned back to his class and put the song on
"1…2…3" he waved his hands as the slow love song the kids had chosen the class before began to pkay, his mind flitted back to Scarlet momentarily and he smiled softly
She tapped her pencil against her notebook and started humming softly, taking the notes and paying attention even though she wasn't fully paying attention. This class was relatively easy and she already had a good grade so not paying close attention wouldn't hurt her grade, at least that's what she thought.
He nodded along to the song and slowed his hand movements to show dramatic affect. The kids started to sing in a lower tone, going along with the song. "Good…"
Class continued on and soon it was almost time to go, the time flying by because of the teacher's great teaching and Scarlett's daydreaming. She started packing up and checked the time, wondering where they were going to go for lunch.
Jasper grinned as the last song ended. The Kids headed off to lunch and Jasper texted Scarlet "should I pick you up? Or do you want to come to the studio?"
"I'm coming there, just hold your impatient horses class isn't done quite yet" She texted him back quickly as she scribbled down the assignment and jotted down the due dates for their next assignments, "Class finished, I'll be right there" Scarlett stood up and slung her backpack over her shoulder, heading out of the class with most of the other students.
He chuckled "alright, see you soon." He put his phone in his pocket and packed his things
"Jassie? Where you going?" Lily asked, walking up to him
"I have a date," she glanced down at the girl and smiled
"Awwwwww is it with the lady from the other day?"
He nodded
She got out of the madness of college students trying to leave and headed straight to the studio, plugging in her headphones and playing music as she walked.
"awwwwww!" Lily squeeled and left to tell the others
Jasper smiled and continued to pack his things, playing some soft music as he did so
The studio wasn't terribly far away from the campus and she arrived their fairly quickly, pausing her music and putting away her headphones before walking inside with a smile, "I'm here," She announced, doing jazz hands for added effect.
He turned when he heard her voice and smiled "Scar, it's a music studio, not Broadway." He chuckled and set the box of music aside
She laughed lightly, "Well now it's broadway." She walked further into the studio and set her backpack on the floor, smiling at Jasper.
He turned and leaned against the counter, grinning at her "ready to go, craziness?"
"Of course," She matched his grin and walked towards him, bouncing on her toes, "Do you have a place in mind to go? Otherwise I have a few places that I've wanted to go but haven't yet."
"I have one in mind, but we can go to the places to have in mind too. Mine won't take long." He laced his hand through the hers and pulled her close "so how was class?"
Scarlett nodded and smiled, "Class was pretty good, besides the amount of homework that she gave us, that was the only bad part. How was your time here?"
He tilted his head to the side and sighed "could've been better in the begining but all around not too bad, the kids learned a new song and the older ones want to do choreography for their song."
"That sounds fun," She smiled up at him, her stomach growling lightly, "Can we head out? I'm hungry, we can continue this conversation on the way if you'd like."
He nodded and pulled her to the door "I hope you like Ice Cream." he said with a grin. "I know its not considered food but in my opinion, Ice cream is better."
Scarlett laughed, "I classify it as a food, and I agree, it is better." She opened the door for him and motioned for him to go out first, humming to herself as a song popped into her head.
He walked through and nodded in thanks, heading down the street. He pulled his hands behind his head lazily and hummed a rock song, bopping his head to the side to the music in his head
She followed him through the door and walked alongside him, still humming as she looked around. "Where are we going?" She asked, looking up at him and stopping her humming for a moment.
"Wouldn't telling you ruin the surprise?" he asked, raising an eyebrow and grinning "you'll know when we get there," he said and started his humming again
She groaned and rolled her eyes, "Jassie.." She whined with a grin, "Can't you just give me a hint? Do you think I've ever gone to this place?"
He thought for a moment "probably not. Not many people have been to this place. Lindsey showed it to me, the first days I got here. I haven't seen many new faces since I've been."
"Alright," She thought over the information for a minute or two and sighed, shrugging, "That didn't help as much as I thought it would."
He shook his head "I promise you'll like it. I loved it when we first got there, around the corner is actually where I got the tattoo, he's really good, and I'm sure if I pull some strings, you can get yours after we eat."
