“Who?” Nevihata asked, a confused tone to his voice.
“Who?” Nevihata asked, a confused tone to his voice.
"The scorpion man. He is not hostile. So don't shoot."
(I gotta go Raven will just follow Aiday around)
(k)
“I’m not shooting at him. I’m shooting at..” Nevihata started.
“Me?” There was a second voice. Out of the trees in the general direction, Sinistra exited. She stopped walking a little bit away from them.
"Hello," said Aiday.
Nevihata stayed silent, but all attention was focused on Sinistra. “Hello,” Sinistra greeted in return.
'Why are you here?" Aiday asked curiously.
“I heard voices, so I was interested in who might be out there. Plus, there’s someone I already happen to know here.”
Scorpio watches the newcomer, his eyes glinting with hostility.
Aiday turned to Nevihata. "I presume she means you?"
Stardew touched her sword reflexively, glancing between everyone.
Guinevere, despite her deep sleep, immediately wakes up and rushes towards where she heard the noise. Her years of training as a huntress reinforced the idea that sleep was necessary, but that she should always be ready. Her body would wake up at the slightest sound of a weapon, and she trained herself to be able to fall asleep instantly in any position. It was hard for her to walk or run quietly due to her massive form, but she didn't have to worry about stealth when the sound of her approach tended to frighten any would-be combatants. She rushed out the front door, weapons in hand.
(Should I go into detail about the weapons, or should I link the page for convenience sake?)
Detail if you want.)
“Yes, It does mean me.” Nevihata put away his pistol but instead brought out a bit of a large weapon, a rifle like one this time. It was safe to assume that this ‘rifle’ shot the same properties that his ‘pistol’ did.
Sinistra crosses her arms. “That’s not very nice.”
"Tension much?" Raven whispered.
Aiday blushed, "I don't know much about these things."
Scorpio gave up on trying to sleep and stood back up, looming above everyone at around 8 feet tall.
Guinevere's weapons, gifts from her son, glinted in the soft moonlight. Her pistol, a modified Magnum, was a hand cannon for anyone under 6 feet. The long-barrelled revolver had a sandalwood grip and shot slugs the size of her thumb. Her blade, however, was her main mode of damage. Greatsword didn't really begin to cover it, as the sword was almost as big as she was. Black steel with a blue handle wrap and overlays on the hilt like a wolf joined the blade with the handle. The pommel spike could break rock, and the handguard and hilt were meticulously carved with spiraling patterns and knots. The pistol, held in the huntress's left hand, was leveled at the intruder in the woods while her blade rested on her right shoulder.
"Imma give you to the count of three before I plug that shit-eating face full of lead."
Sensing danger, Scorpio unfolded his wings, whipping his tail around and shooting small droplets of paralyzing poison from it as an intimidation technique.
“Hm? But how would you know what my face looks like?” Sinistra took a step back, leaning against a tree. “Nice collection of weapons you got there, by the way. Had to do a double take there, it’s not often I see someone with such large weaponry.” She seemed to yawn. “Go ahead, attack me. Attack me who has shown no ill intentions. I dare you.”
Nevihata took a moment to study Guinevere, before reloading his rifle with a click. He aimed it at Sinistra, crouching down slightly, finger ready to hit the trigger. “Show no ill intentions right now, it’ll show them later. Never trust something that comes from somewhere you’ve never heard of, ever.” He noted outloud to everyone in the range.
((I’ll give you permission to shoot her/it. She/it deserves it. If you want to, of course.))
Stardew, ever so slowly, drew her sword. It looked pitifully thin and foppish with its hilt of gems next to Guinevere's imposing greatsword, but Stardew handled it like it was an extension of her body. Deep in her black-and-silver eyes, a dangerous light gleamed.
Aiday stepped forwards. Between sides. "Don't shoot!" she pleaded. "This creature has shown you guilt! Why should you kill her?"
Scorpio gave an inhuman hiss and flapped his wings, taking off much faster than you would expect something so big to be able to. He lashes his tail at Sinistra and sprays paralyzing poison at her with his tail.
(If the poison hits her, it will completely stop her from moving within a matter of seconds and she will die from her heart not being able to beat, or her lungs not being able to function, or basically no muscle being able to move at all.)
Aiday's eyes turned to slits of fury as she raced to the fallen creature. "I can heal you!" she cried as she made her way towards it. "How long can you survive?" she gasped as she avoided the poison running on the ground.
"I'm not shooting," Stardew replied, watching Scorpio take off. "I'm not even attacking with my blade – yet. I'm not bloodthirsty. I just love a good, jovial fight, and this is shaping up to be possibly a very nasty one."
(If it isn’t ingested it will take a bit longer for the poison to travel through her skin and into her blood stream)
Rather than shoot, Guinevere lunged with a speed uncommon for someone of her size. She couldn't compare with Scorpio, but her legs found footholds in the soft earth that propelled her forward like a bird in flight. In tandem with the creature, she hefted her blade in an overhead slash mighty enough to cleave a tree in half.
(good lord, this happened fast. How are we going to sequence this?)
There. Got a spot in if we need to rearange.
