They're all getting pretty full so I figured I'd start one.

It was dark. Jesse could feel the cold seeping into the rickety house and surrounding him. There were noises outside a door he hadn't shut yet. His fingers tightened around his shotgun and he narrowed his eyes. Casting a look back at his sleeping partner, he stepped closer to the door.
"Who's there?" He called into the night.

@Pickles group

A girl stepped through the doorway. She had her hand on a small gun at her side, which seemed out of place because the girl couldn't have been more than 14. "Who are you?" She tried to stop her voice from trembling, but she was clearly scared.

@Yamatsu

A large hand rested on the girl's shoulder, and when she looked up at the massive figure behind her, her voice evened. The figure was still in the shadows, but they were taller than to doorframe itself, needing to crouch slightly to see who was in the bedroom. Despite the darkness of the old manor, Jesse could almost make out the silhouette of the person standing behind the girl. A woman, at least seven feet tall. She was like a pillar with long hair.

@Pickles group

"We know he talks because we heard him earlier but now he's frozen. Perhaps he's in shock," the girl suggested. She turned to Jesse. "I'm Raven, by the way. Who are you?"

@Yamatsu

"Guinevere," the woman replied. She was armed with a very large revolver and a greatsword strapped across her back. "I know we haven't met formally, but I feel as though the boss wouldn't like squatters," Guinevere said beginning her statement towards Raven. When she mentioned squatters, her eyes narrowed as her head turned back towards Jesse and his sleeping partner.
"I'm going to ask you once and only once to leave before I pick you both up and throw you out myself."

@Pickles group

"Raven, Guinevere, scared dude, sleeping dude," said Raven, pointing to each of them. "Now we know who's who… Oh maturity and seriousness. Have to work on that…" She trailed off gravely. Her mentor always said that if she were to be a part of the organization at fourteen, she would have to work harder and be more dedicated than most.

@Yamatsu

Guinevere glared at the child and drew her hand across her neck as if to say "Cut it out!" She didn't want these strangers in here when it was already bad enough having to watch other the two of them. This house had been derelict for years, and having two more strange people around her charges was not going to be good for her blood pressure. Besides, what on Earth could this twig of a girl give her? She thought she was the only one with any money to her name.

Wandering in the darkness, there was the sound of movement. Glowing blue eyes were seen in the dark, four sets. Considering the height of said eyes, the owner of said eyes, was of gigantic proportions. It walked slowly along, seemingly being careful as it walked. It looked draconic, though there were no wings. It had six limbs, but the middle were tucked up, seeming to be carrying something.
The creature paused, looking forward, seeing flickering lights, and the sound of voices. It tilted its heavy head in a curious fashion, moving slowly closer to investigate the source of the sounds. Approaching, it saw a worn house. It lifted its head, nostrils flaring as it took in the scents. Strangers, though it could sense things didn't seem right.

@Pickles group

As if sensing Guinevere's thoughts, Raven's eyes flashed golden, but she shut her mouth. They had enough trouble already. If she was going to learn, she figured it was best to silently watch, however difficult.

@Yamatsu

"Outside, for one." Guinevere threw open the shuttered window and gestured out to the dark, damp night. "See? It's plenty hospitable out–" The shuffling of the drake-like creature caught her attention, and upon spotting it she closed the windows slowly. She deeply inhaled through her nose and then tightened a hand around each of her weapons.
"On second thought, we might be able to make some room here. Can you excuse me for just a moment?"

@Mojack group

Amongst the darkness was another thing; though perhaps more humanoid in appearance. The darkness hid many of his primary features, but there was a green light shining from the head of the person. Nevihata had his night-vision on; one could mistake the green light for perhaps an animal such as a big cat shuffling around in the darkness. He had heard the voices and decided to investigate, staying low to the ground; head tilted down slightly to try and minimize how much the light appeared on his helmet. Crouching down, he'd observe for the time being by listening.

@Dragoncita group

The creature's huge head turned, hearing more movement. Its nostrils flared once again, taking in the scents. So far, none were making a instant threat, though that could all change in a heartbeat.
A soft noise made it look down towards its stomach where its arms held what it was carrying. Another set of blue eyes slowly opened, showing a much smaller version of the beast, a single offspring. The small one seemed to make a soft 'hum', looking around. The larger beast made a comforting noise, looking back to the place before it.

@Pickles group

Raven looked at the people in the room critically. Making a decision, she slipped over to the girl. "Who are you? Who are these people? Why are you here?" She tried to keep her voice quiet, but it was difficult, and she was excited. She was not a quiet person.

@Mojack group

Nevihata knew quite clearly he was not alone in the darkness. As bold as he could be, he would opt to stay quiet and study the area and see how many people - or creatures were in the area. He lifted his head slightly, the green light from his night vision becoming more clear and easy to see.

@Yamatsu

Guinevere slowly opened the front door, revolver raised, broadsword drawn and resting on her left shoulder.
"Hey there, big guy!" She called out to the multi-eyed creature.

@Mojack group

Hearing the door open, he focused to the movement and saw the woman; although he couldn't get a clear view; it was rather clear that she carried weapons. Nevihata backed up, slowly and still crouched down in attempt to make himself even more less visible.

@Dragoncita group

The creature suddenly turned its head, hearing a voice. It tilted its massive head in the curious fashion it did. It's multiple eyes blinked, each at a different time. It tucked the small offspring closer to its body again, hiding it to the best of its ability.
The beast was silent for several moments, then finally responded, its voice deep, "You speak me?"
The creature was highly intelligent, but its English was clearly not great.

@Pickles group

She frowned. "Not… Not in the sense you're thinking of. But my humanity remains intact." Raven held up a hand that was now a furry paw. "Werewolf. Rather young, and I was born not turned or whatever."
