Arthur gave him a reasurring smiled, "Level out your wingbeats, keep them at a steady rhythm and you should be able to steady yourself." he said gently, keeping his distance so the turbulence from his own wings wouldn't throw the other off.

Soren didn't even need to focus before his wings straightened and he was hovering gently, perfectly balanced. "I guess they aren't that hard to control."
From not too far away, in the direction of the school, sirens began to ring loudly into the night. It was a familiar siren, that Soren had only ever heard once before, when he witnessed someone being stripped of their powers. He turned to Arthur, fear written across his face. "We need to leave, now."

Arthur heard it too, visibly paling. "Lets go then!" he said, twisting midair, his wings manuvering to fly both high and fast. He looked back to make sure Soren could follow, his wings leveling out high above the ground, beating rhythmically as he tried to go faster.

Alrighty!! So we are continuing from where we left off… Soren and Arthur have escaped the school they were at but now they are being hunted by the government. I'm thinking their goal should be to get to the border or something so that they can't be harmed by the government that is after them??

That sounds good to me! I also think we can take their relationship a bit further too possibly… especially since I'm now way more familiar with what actually happened to Arthur, (Some of how I write him may have changed since last time,)
