She finished the problem and set the pencil down, "There, two more to go and then I'm done," She said, picking up her pencil and writing the next problem.
(It's fine, I understand)
She finished the problem and set the pencil down, "There, two more to go and then I'm done," She said, picking up her pencil and writing the next problem.
He watched her proudly as she finished the problems and kissed her head "now that wasn't so hard, was it?" He muttered sleepily
"I mean, it wasn't that bad once you explained it, but those problems take so long to solve." She smiled and looked over at him, "Are you hungry? Tired?"
He shook his head "just tired. And yeah, they aren't that hard, as one of my favorite teachers said 'its as hard as you think it to be'" he smiled and layed his head on his arm "is that all you have to do?"
She nodded, "That's it, I'll have another assignment tomorrow though." She stretched her arms out and yawned, leaving her books out as she stood up, "Well, what do you want to do now?"
"yay, more to do tomorrow," he sighed and stood "where's the couch you were mentioning before? I could go home but I don't think I'll make it." He stretched and glanced at her "today was fun."
"Right there," She pointed to the couch behind them, nodding slightly, "Today was amazing." The couch was a soft gray color, with red and other bright throw pillows and a matching blanket, "Feel free to use the blanket and pillows, I have them there because I tend to crash there after a long day."
"I'll go home if that's you're place to sleep," he said gathering his things, feeling as if he had intruded "really it's fine if I have to sleep at home."
"No, please stay," She said, looking at him and then quickly looking at the table, "My bed is right in there," She said, pointing to a short hallway with two doors, "I only sleep on the couch if I physically can't make it to my bed." She sighed, "I mean, you can go if you want to, it just gets lonely here after living on your own for two years now, you can leave if you don't want to stay, that's fine too."
He looked at her and smiled, placing things back down on the table. He walked over to her and pulled her close "whatever gave you the thought that I would want to leave, hm?" He kissed her head "since you practically begged me, of course I'll stay."
She smiled and felt herself blush, leaning towards him. "Thank you." She said softly. Scarlett didn't know exactally why she was thanking him, but she wanted to.
He glanced down at her "what for?" he asked softly, slightly confused as to why he was being thanked "I din't do much."
"For help with the homework..and for staying." She smiled and looked up at him.
He smiled and shook his head "I told you before, I'm not leaving you that easily. I just thought that you'd be more comfortable." He kissed her brow "Imma bout to fall asleep…"
She nodded, "You might want to go o the couch then." She stood up and walked to the couch, making sure she didn't have anything left on it, setting the remote on the coffee table "Here's the remote for the TV if you want to watch anything, do you need anything else?"
He shook his head "you've offered more than enough." He walked over to the couch and sat down, suppressing a groan as he almost fell asleep right there "thank you…"
"Alright, just to warn you I can be a grouch in the morning, and feel free to help yourself to anything in the kitchen if you get hungry." She smiled and rubbed the back of her neck, "I'm off to bed, goodnight."
He nodded "Believe me, I think I'm worse. And thanks again. Night." he watched her retreat to her bedroom. Once out of sight, he slipped into the bathroom and pulled off his shirt, hating the feeling of fabric other than the fluffy blanket against his skin when asleep. Sighing, he laid on the couch, pulling the covers over him, encircling himself with her scent, soon falling asleep.
She nodded and slipped into her bedroom, going through her nightly routine and changing into a tank top and short shorts before slipping into bed. She drifted off to sleep quite easily, humming a song as she drifted off and started dreaming.
He tossed and turned, wrestlers for some reason that night. Sitting up, he grabbed his phone and plugged in headphones so as to not disturb Scarlet. Putting on Darkside by Alan Walker and started humming softly, waving his hands as a conductor would, trying to calm his nerves
Scarlett slept peacefully, occasionally rolling over in her bed but otherwise it was a nightmare free night. She pulled her blanket over herself tighter and smiled ever so slightly before going back to sleep.
He sighed, falling back asleep. He woke in the early hours of the morning, walking to Scarlet's room and smiling as he watched her sleep peacefully. Walking back to the living room, he pulled on his shirt and went to the kitchen to start breakfast
She continued sleeping quietly, not hearing him check on her. After a few more minutes she started waking up, grumbling about having to wake up and go to classes.
He came in and sat at the edge her bed "Scar, wake up." He nudged her side in an attempt to get her up "come on, classes start soon, I've got food."
"No.." She mumbled, rolling away from him and burying herself in her blankets, "I don't wanna get up.." She yawned and looked over her shoulder, opening one eye slowly and scowling at him.
He glanced down at her and smiled "you're adorable." he kissed her head and stood "guess I'm eating breakfast alone then."
She huffed, "I'm not adorable." She rolled onto her back as he stood and huffed again, "Hold your horses, I'll be there in a few minutes." She sat up and glared at the wall, "Did you make any coffee by chance?"
"Like I said last night, "that's debatable and I never lie. and yes I did make coffee, how much sugar do you want in it?" he asked, passing her a cup and grabbing water for himself. "Hope you like waffles and fruit."
"A ton of sugar." She said, walking out of her room and heading to the kitchen, "Waffles sound amazing, I usually just make cereal or grab an apple for breakfast, so that sounds like a five star breakfast." She poured enough sugar into her coffee to worry most people, looking over at Jasper. She probably looked like a mess, with her pajamas on her her hair a wild mess, along with the look on her face that said 'don't mess with me I'll murder you'.
He just watched her with an amused look "I wouldn't think of it," he smiled, trying not to burst into laughter "and I fought they're even two star." He sat down across from her "no wonder your so awake in the morning, or why I could barley find any sugar in the cabinets."
