"Unfortunately for me… most people don't understand that concept" he said sighing.
"Unfortunately for me… most people don't understand that concept" he said sighing.
(Also my mom vanished so Im just writing and eating here)
Kyle nodded, “I wish people would, it would make life so much easier.”
"Mine too" said Arthur with a smile, glad he'd found someone that understood as he brushed away the lock of hair. The hand accidentally knocked back his hood in the process, revealing the rest of his dark, ember red hair.
Kyle leaned forward just a little but, tilting his head to the side as he gave the other a quick once over, “How’s school been going for you? Well, this morning’s classes anyway?”
(Sorry… be back in a few)
(Okay)
(Ok… Sorry about that, my mom was having issues…
Arthur sighed, "Ok I guess," he said, "I mean… I have a ton of classwork to do now, and I'm behind on literally everything…" he closed his eyes for a second. "I'll catch up… somehow…"
“Do you…” He sucked in a breath, “Do you maybe want me to help you with anything? If not that’s fine too but I can help if you need me too.”
"I'd actually really appreciate some help with the science work…." said Arthur quickly, "If…if you don't mind that is…"
Kyle shook his head maybe a little too quickly, “No, I don’t mind,” He smiled a little, “After school then?”
"Yeah…" said Arthur, "I can meet you at the front gate? And we can head to my place?" he asked it tentatively.
“Sure, sounds like a good plan.” His smile grew just a little.
(Omg….. I'm so sorry…. I don't remember what happened… I probably got interrupted by family and accidentally closed the window as I was typing….. Sorry… I promise this doesn't happen often…)
Arthur smiled faintly, "Great. I guess I'll see you then.." he said softly, blushing softly for some reason.
(It’s fine, don’t worry about it)
“Yup, see you then.” The bell rang shortly after that, signalling the end of lunch. Kyle packed up his things quickly.
Arthur grabbed his, immediately jogging off to his next class. Looking back for a moment to wave to Kyle. god he's cute
You're in love
SHUT UP
The last couple periods passed quickly, students practically rushing out the door when the last bell rang. Kyle made his way to his locker after an unfortunate run in with his usual bullies leaving him with some more bruises. He packed away what he needed before heading to meet Arthur.
Arthur waited by the front gates, bundled in a coat and some warm snowboots as he waited for Kyle. I wonder if he'll actually come he thought, searching the crowds as they passed him by.
Kyle rubbed and held his stomach as he quickly scanned the crowd of people for Arthur. Once he found the taller boy, he walked over with a smile, “Hey.”
"You came…" said Arthur breathlessly, coming up to the other boy, "Uhm.. Shall we go?"
“Of course I did, I said I would,” he shrugged, “Lead the way.”
Arthur smiled, nodding he set off down the street, heading for a small collection of apartment buildings about three blocks away. "So… you any good at science?" He asked as they walked.
Again, Kyle shrugged a shoulder before running a hand through his hair, “Meh, I’m alright I guess, but good enough to help you pass.”
Arthur gave him a grateful smile. "Science was never my strong point…" he said shyly, leading Kyle into a dreary apartement building and up the stairs.
“Well, I’ll help you get better, you can count on it.” Kyle looked up and sent Arthur a wink.
Arthur blushed lightly, his eyes dropping as he turned down a hallway, coming to his door he pulled out a key. Unlocking it he led Kyle into a small apartment, it was simply furnished, but comfortable.
Kyle looked around curiously for a few moments, taking his shoes off politely at the door like he would at home, “Right, ready to study?”
"I guess" said Arthur dumping his coat on the coatrack, leaving his shoes by the door as he reluctantly began digging out homework, papers, and assorted assignments.
Kyle pulled out his glasses, slipping them onto his face as he pulled out his books. He bit his lip, scanning over the mass of notes.
"I think my teachers gave me all the work from the beginning of the semester…" said Arthur frustratedly. Shrinking away from the daunting load of work.
