"Yeah.. uhm.. I was wondering if you knew where any of these classes were…" said Arthur nervously, his voice barely heard over the hustle and bustle of the school.
Way to go hotshot
Will you please leave me alone for one day? thought Arthur, not showing anything outward, though his mental tone was of pleading annoyance.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Kyle took his schedule in his hands, eyes flicking over the page. He had to squint slight to read to properly as his glasses were in his bag, “Most of them are in the west side of the school, though your English is on the second level on the east,” He explained, “They’re pretty easy to find, though I’d hurry ‘cause Mr Johnson will be up your ass soon, but you’re new so he’ll let you off this time.”

Arthur nodded, "Thanks…." he said shyly, shouldering his bag before dashing off.
Be glad you can still make it idiot. I told you to get up earlier.
I thought I asked you to lay off! thought Arthur in annoyance, hoping he wasn't about to make a horrible first impression.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Kyle stood there and watched him go. That guys was… cute to say the least. He pushed those thoughts away, knowing nothing would come of it. Who would want to be his friend or more anyway? According to everyone here, he was an abomination. Sighing, he headed to his own class, hoping to get there on time and praying the school day would be over quicker.

(Shall we have them meet at lunch?)
Arthur dashed into his classroom, barely out of breath despite the speed he'd been coming at. Quickly he found an open seat and sat down. Sorting out his books he quickly pulled out everything he thought he might need. Thank goodness I made it on time He thought as the bell rang.

@ElderGod-Carrots

(Yeah)
Lunch rolled around too quickly for Kyle's liking. He practically dragged himself into the cafeteria and took a seat in his regular spot by the floor to ceiling windows, by himself. He watched the snow fall aimlessly outside and he dreaded having to walk home in it. He sighed, pulling out a book to pass the time.

Arthur sighed, shivering as he saw snow falling outside. Grabbing a cafeteria lunch he looked for a place to sit. Spotting an empty corner he headed there, ignoring the kid with the book as he sat as far away from the window as possible.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Kyle glanced up from his book and frowned, pushing his glasses up his nose just slightly, he cleared his throat to gain the other guys attention, "Did you… did you want to make your school life harder by sitting here? Because if not I suggest you move."

Arthur looked up, immediately recognizing the guy from earlier. "Uhm.. I'm not sure what you mean…" he said softly. Looking out at the snow he shivered, not liking the draft from the windows.

@ElderGod-Carrots

He sighed, closing his book and looking around to make sure no one was looking over or listening in, "You don't want to be associated with me, okay? It'll only make you're life harder as in, you'll get bullied," He looked down with a small frown, "The people here aren't so kind."

Deleted user

Great… more jerks picking on the weak….
"I'm not afraid of bullies." said Arthur flatly, his voice quiet. "And I don't care what you say, I judge by actions of the person, not what others say."

@ElderGod-Carrots

Kyle's eyes widened a little before he just shook his head a little, "It really is obvious you're not from St. Aimes," He muttered, "A word of advice, see that blonde guy over the other side of the room," He jerked his head in that direction, "Don't cross him or his goons, they'll make your life hell, trust me."

Deleted user

"My life has already taken me to hell and back," said Arthur firmly, "So they'd better be the ones watching their backs with me." e said it ominously, before turning back to his lunch.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Kyle bit his lip, nodding just a little, "Well, he's the strongest one in the school. I mean, that's understandable as he got his powers early compared to everyone else…"

Deleted user

(Sorry! I fell asleep….)
Arthur looked up, "Powers?" He asked. could kids in this school be like me? "What do you mean by powers?"
This is new

@ElderGod-Carrots

(Sorry, I was asleep too)
"Oh! Right, you don't know," Kyle sighed, "Everyone in St. Aimes has powers, every family a specific style," He rested his head in his hands, not making eye contact, "Jason got his powers early…"

Deleted user

Arthur blinked in surprise, "but.. why?" he asked, curious. "Do you have powers too?" he watched the other boy carefully.
Oh Arthur… curious as ever.
leave me alone

@ElderGod-Carrots

Kyle shrugged, "No one knows, not even the doctors could explain it," At the other question, he visibly flinch and recoiled slightly like he was in pain before he shook his head, "No, I don't…"

Arthur watched him in slight confusion, "What are you upset about?" he asked softly, mentally wondering what the other kids would think if they found out that his dad was a literal wolf…

@ElderGod-Carrots

"Do you want to know how many other kids in this school don't have powers?" He asked, keeping his voice quiet, almost a whisper, "None. Not a single person but me. I was supposed to get my powers seven years ago and since then, I have been outcast and shamed. So, I'll tell you again, if you want the same fate, you shouldn't come near me."

Deleted user

Arthur frowned, "That's just wrong," he said softly, "I don't care if you don't have magic or not, I wanna know people for who they are, not their abilities."

Deleted user

"Arthur" he replied, smiling softly, "And I still think they're wrong about you" he said, glancing around.
