To say the very least, Miles never thought he would end up here. He stood at the door and simply stared at it. He knew perfectly well how to get in, for he had observed (not spied) a girl walk into the door using a hand scanner. Miles chose to delay. He glance behind him as a natural instinct. Just passerbyers on the street. What he would give to be one of them. But Miles Sage was not a passerby on the street. Miles Sage was a medical school dropout with a gun and a few clients. The other week one of his father's old clients sent him a message (that inevitably messed up his computer but oh well) telling him to meet at this building at this time for a meeting. An 'Agency" of sorts, the brief letter had described. Miles considered not even bothering to show up. Why would he anyways? He didn't need an entire agency: just his gun and a revenge thirsty client. But then again, why not try something new?
He ran his hands through his dreads, tightened the strap of his rifle case on his shoulder, and placed his hand on the scanner.
With a few beeps and a satisfying click, Miles Sage entered the building teeming with animals.
Crys continued her target practice. The training room was one of the first rooms there as you walk in. The door always open upon protocol. She threw the sharp slivery daggers and kept hitting the middle of the target. Crys had need studying and learning how to throw them properly and how to aim them for awhile. Now she just found it easy as she practiced. It was always harder on a moving Target.
Miles wondered around the facility. Thirty more minutes until the meeting. He roamed into the kitchen to scavenge for food. It was mostly healthy stuff like you see in gyms with a few juices and carby items thrown around. The boy grabbed a banana and wandered over to a table in the corner of the empty room. He plugged his earbuds into his phone preparing to tune out the rest of the world. Miles glanced at his sister's ring on his right hand. He hoped this was worth it.
When Jayde was satisfied with all that she had done, she decided to travel around the building to see who was there and if anyone knew when it was starting. She ended up in the training room and leaned on the wall while she watched someone throw targets. "Nice aim."
Crys stopped and turned around and smiled. "Thanks, I try." She said then walked over to the other girl. "Would you like to try?" she said offering some of the knives.
"Well, I know it won't be as good as you but I'll give it a go." She said, taking three of the knives. The first two that she threw didn't even make it onto the board and the last ended up on the outer ring. "Well, this just shows me that I should stick to computers which is what I know best."
"I bet you would get better if you practiced." Crys said then walked over to the targets and collected all of the knives. "So… I'm not great at conversations. So, what is your name exactly?" Crys asked awkwardly.
"Jayde." She answered, picking up the knives and putting them back in their place before sticking her hand out to her.
Crys held all the knives and shook her hand with the other. "Crys. Well Crystallia. But just Crys." She said and smiled.
"Okay, Crys, what can you do other than through knives flawlessly." She asked putting her hand back to her side.
"Well I'm pretty good at acting. Usually just to cause a distraction though." Crys said and smiled. Then walked across the room and put the knives away.
"Can you do a demo?" Jayde asked her going back to lean on the wall while her hands were in her pocket.
"Probably not." Crys said. And looked around the room. "Do you know the time?"
"Yup, 9:25. Five minutes till the meeting." The hacker answered going for the door so she could head to the meeting room.
Crys nodded then put away the rest of the stuff and went to the meeting room.
(I wanted to ask if I could join but this seems busy so I won't ask)

The song stopped. Miles blinked a few times to shake the bleakness from his eyes. He checked the time and nearly jumped out of his seat. Two minutes till the meeting! The sniper haphazardly wrapped his earbuds around his phone, stuffed it in his cargo pocket, snatched up his rifle case, and hurriedly tried to find the meeting room. He passed by what looked like a training room with dozens of targets and made a mental note to visit it later if he had the chance. Miles scurried by several other rooms before finding one that had a couple of very out of place girls chatting right out side it. He slowed his pace and approached the two with practiced manner, "Excuse me, but is this the meeting place for the 9:30?"
"I assume so," Jayde answered, looking to her watch.
"Yeah. This is the room." Crys answered looking at the person. "Who are you?"
"I'm Miles," he said to the shorter of the two, the one with brilliantly grey eyes. The other one, lean, athletic, and almost his height elected to ignore him. "And you are?"
"Jayde." She answered. Looking up to the guy and sticking out her hand.
(I didn't mean for her to be ignoring him, she was actually checking the time.)
"I'm Crys." She said then saw the doors opening up and looked to them. "Looks like the meeting is starting."
Jayde walked in and took the seat far from where the head would be sitting.
Crys walked to sit on a beanbag in the corner of the room.
(doesn't know how to hop in)
(they are just starting the meeting so just walk in and take a seat.)
