Are we ready to start (if so, who'll be starting)?
I could start.
Alright!
Ryver sat in a cafe. It was almost completely empty aside from a few people sitting around the place. Though there were only like two other people, so it was nearly deserted. He drank his hot chocolate slowly then pulled out a pen bored. Ryver always had a pen in his pocket, or at least for the most part. He started to draw a few boxes down his arm. Then he started to fill it in. He drew a wordless comic strip about a cat. This cat was a superhero though it never felt like one. It seemed and felt like it made more damage then it helped. After he finished the drawing he finished his hot chocolate and left the cafe.
Sam woke up, still groggy from the night before. Why didn't my…Oh my god! I'm gonna be late! Sam's alarm clock was set, but wasn't turned on. She dashed in her dorm, quickly changing and brushing her hair, too frantic to even notice the drawing that was on her arm. She entered the classroom five minutes late, and was given a warning; it was uncommon for Sam to be late like this. It was only at the end of the class that she noticed it, and suspected her roomate, someone who'd pull a prank like that. At the end of the school day (around 3 PM), Sam tried to wash all she could of it off, which left a dark smudge on her arm, reminding her of the cat that had ventured on her skin.
(Should I add more, or is that good?)
(its good. Sorry it is taking a bit to respond I was cleaning my room.)
When Ryver got back to his apartment he looked around for a book to read. Finally after some searching though he found one. It was a fairytale book but still good. He read it for a few hours until around 6 when he got hungry and looked through his cupboards for something to eat.
(Just for convenience, let's just say they live near-ish to each other. Where should they meet? The diner…?)
After a reckless few hours of Track, Sam was exhausted. She was too lazy to cook, so she went into a local diner, where she ordered a burger. Messy-and bad for you, but delicious… Sam ate while she did homework-an essay that was due in a few days that had to be handwritten. Her teacher might be upset about the grease stain, but he was used to it from Sam. When she ran out of paper to write, she doodled on her arm. A simple rose, but it took her a few months to make it detailed. After running out of ideas for anything, she spent her time in the cafe with her laptop, writing out a story that she was doing for fun.
Ryver decided to just go to the diner. It was down the street and not very expensive. So he grabbed his bag and walked to the diner. When he got there he sat down and soon ordered a cheeseburger. Ryver really didn't care about what he ate at times. He wore a jacket that was light over his black shirt and dark jeans. Soon he took out his phone and responded to some people who messaged him.
(gtg, I might respond later, but I'll for sure be online on Monday)
Sam yawned and tried her best to stay awake. She didn't want to fall asleep in public and make an embarrassment of herself. Just one more paragraph, then you can leave. Upon finishing typing, Sam's right hand tried to reach for her jacket by sliding to the right, but it knocked into her drink, spilling her pop all over herself. She gasped and quickly moved her laptop out of the way, shutting it as well. Sam stood and tried to get as much of it off of her as possible, and she used a multitude of napkins to soak up the mess, all the while biting her tongue in frustration, silently cursing at herself.
Ryver got up when he noticed the girl who was sitting near him struggling. He walked over to her. "Hey, need some help?" He asked and grabbed her some more napkins. It all looked like a mess. "These napkins aren't doing much help…."
"Oh! Uh yeah, yeah. Sure…" Sam's voice sounded unconvincing, growing softer the more she spoke. "I'm sorry, I'm just clumsy sometimes, and you-you really don't have to help…" Sam insisted.
"No it's fine. And maybe I would like to help you." He replied then went to ask for a towel from one of the workers. Soon enough they gave it to him and he gave it to her.
"Thanks," Sam mumbled, focusing on cleaning the mess up, having to wipe down the booth she was in as well. "I appreciate the help, but I really should be going. I don't really know how to repay you…"
"Don't repay me." He said smiling then grabbed his stuff paid and walked out.
(Random question: what season is it in the roleplay?)
"I-" Sam attempted to thank him, to insist that she do something for him, but he'd already left, leaving her alone. She quietly and efficiently packed up her things in her bag and left.
You shouldn't have been so awkward. You probably made him think that you're weird! Just…if you see him again, don't chicken out! Find something you both like! I mean, he cares to have spent his time helping you, of all people… Sam sighed, giving up on trying to reach him, and she hurriedly walked to her dorm looking down. She wasn't usually this shy, but it showed itself when she wasn't at school or with her friends, who've seemed to have ditched her because she was too focused on work than fun, which she didn't see as an accurate fit for herself.
Ryver walked back to his apartment nearby then went inside. He decided now was the perfect time to do some work that he promised to do for his boss. Yeah he was majorly procrastinating at it.
(Crap, idk where to go from here…)
Upon returning to her dorm, Sam flopped on her bed, only to find that she couldn't sleep. Too lazy to grab some paper, Sam used a pen she had laying around and began to doodle patterns on the back of her left hand, and it transformed into an ivy leaf, so she drew two more behind it, one off to the left, the other to the right of the main one, each one having different patterns than the other. She eventually fell asleep a few minutes after she was done, and she silently thanked the gods that it was Friday.
Ryver got bored and saw the designs he started to create a weird world around the two leaves. Drawing out a sky with birds in it. Then some nicely detailed clouds.
(I gtg)
Sam woke up around 8Am, and she noticed her hand almost immediately. She scribbled some words on her left arm, careful as to not ruin the drawing, Who/What is this? And she got up, only to have cereal and a bagel for breakfast, deciding what she'd do for that day. She had work to do, yes, but her friend had encouraged her multiple times to do something fun for a change. The most fun thing she decided she could do was go to the local park and probably draw the scenery, so that's what she did after she cleaned herself up: she walked with her sketchbook in her bag, along with a variety of pencils and pens.
When Ryver woke up he went to go eat breakfast when he noticed the writing. He pulled out a pen and wrote down he was human and at times wasn't sure of who he even was.
Because that's helpful, thanks. I'm human, too. Sam wrote walking to the park, having a slight bit of enthusiasm in her walk.
