Appearance: Soft blonde hair in a short undercut style, sparkly green-blue eyes, a fair amount of freckles, lightly tanned pale skin, warm/friendly smile. Soft-but-still-kinda-angular face/jaw and broad-ish shoulders. He has a tall, sturdy frame which accentuates his athletic build. 5'10", 187 lbs. Rather attractive with a sort of femininity and grace to him that accurately demonstrates his true gentle self. Looks almost identical to his father and absolutely hates it.
Outfit: Grey rectangular-framed bifocal glasses. When not in his scrubs, he usually has a semi-casual and comfortable style of nice sweaters, t-shirts with a variety of logos on them, jeans, vans-like shoes, belts, and a pristine silver watch. He doesn't particularly like dressing up, as that makes him look even more like his putrid father.
Personality: Confident but not at all prideful or cocky (he's a humble boi), very intelligent/clever, has plenty of common sense, creative, organized, curious, knowledgeable, flirtatious if someone does start flirting with him first, observant, charming, gentle, kind, caring, tries to manage his anger and negative emotions, introverted but not at all an extreme introvert, never wanting to ever become remotely close to his father.
Fears: Becoming a murderous monster like his father, killing a patient, his father or sister finding him, being a burden, being used.

Background: His father is a psychopath who tried to force Charles into the "family business" of torturing and murdering people. Eventually, once Charles was old enough, Kain tried to get him to kill the family cat, wanting him to get a taste of bloodlust, and causing Charles to start crying as Kain wrung the animal's neck right in front of him. At one time, Charles had freed several captives while Kain was away, which resulted in a week of punishment and torture, along with watching the captives he released to go through extreme torture and dying right in front of him. The scars of the aftermath had long since healed and faded with time. Kain finally disowned his son after discovering he was going to med school and becoming a doctor, but left him with the threat of a fate worse than death if he told anyone of the horrors he had witnessed in his home. He has many repressed memories and triggers because of this. His sister took his place, taking over the "family business" in his place and was cast out as weak.
Other: Has a ton of houseplants in his apartment. Is currently looking for a job in the medical field and is supporting himself by being a waiter. His mother is an Incubus, which is a trait she seemed to have passed onto him, along with demonic markings that fade into his skin when feeling certain emotions (as he has yet to gain full control over this since he tries to ignore it), along with gaining sharpened teeth and small, swirly horns above his ears.
