“It’s too loud to sleep.” Damian replied, not even denying that he was tired at this point. “There’s a rabbit nearby with its little…” The prince halted, forgetting what baby rabbits were called. “Bunlits…”

That’s adorable oml 🐰)

Damian paused to listen for another moment, abruptly starting to get to his feet. “They smell the carrots, but they want lettuce more.” He seemed to realise he couldn’t stand inside the tent and crawled outside, abandoning Copper behind him. She squawked in distain and flew to Catori’s shoulder.

"Damian, get back in here!" Catori moved to go after him, plucking Copper off her shoulder just until they got outside. "I'm about to shove some Passion Flower down his throat just to get him to stop moving." She grumbled to herself.

“They need lettuce!” Damian protested, giving Catori a big pout with wide innocent eyes. He was absolutely willing to fake innocence to go feed the rabbits, and then field mice, along with the vole, and the school of fish, and then the starlings….

“Not if we bring them with us.” Damian got to his feet, stabilizing himself fairly quickly.

Damian grabbed Catori’s hand with a fond smile, intertwining their fingers. “You’ll change your mind once you meet them.” He insisted, changing tactics to try and sway Tori to his side.

Deleted user

“But, Sparrow.” Damian used his other hand to gently cup her cheek. “Think of the bunlits!”

Deleted user

Damian squeezed her hand. “You’d be a fantastic mother.”

Jasper was returning from gathering water from the river, the pail in his hands. “Prince Damian, Whatever you want the answer is no.” He said flatly, taking a cloth soaked with water, holding it like a weapon. “I’ll do it. You know I will.” He threatened.

Damian scowled at Jasper who charge towards him with the wet cloth. Damian fled instantly, scrambling inside the tent again. “Stay there or I’ll ruin your hair with it.” He threatened, taking a step back with a sigh of relief. “You okay, princess?” He shot Damian a glare as the prince sulked in the back of the tent.

Catori shook her head to clear it. "Yes, thank you. He's quite the sly bastard."
((yes she did just call him a bastard. also, i'm hittin' the hay my dude, g'night!

He totally deserves it XD. Goodnight!))

Jasper’s eyes widened in amused surprise. “He can be sly when he wants to be.” He noted, trying to help Catori out. “You know what he likes and dislikes. You should be able to keep him under control if you get creative enough. But don’t let him sweet talk you into anything.”

“If you need me, just call. We grew up together, I know him pretty well.” Jasper gave her an encouraging smile. “I’ll be over by the uh… beginnings of my fire.” He gestured to the crude rocky circle with some sticks in the middle.

Deleted user

“If it doesn’t strain you too much.” Jasper smiled, heading back over to the pile of sticks.

Deleted user

“Don’t do it if it’ll take that much energy.” Jasper chewed his lip worriedly. “I’d rather you take care of him.” He shrugged.

@croccin-champagne

"I'm saying that it won't take too much. Barely any, for a fire this small. I, unlike him-" She shot a half hearted glare in the direction of the tent as she crouched down, placing a hand on the bundle of sticks. "-know my limits."

“He’s just showing off. It’s a good sign, trust me.” Jasper snorted. “If he was hiding his powers I’d worry.”

@croccin-champagne

Catori's eyebrow quirked up curiously, but she didn't say anything more as flame began to spread along her hand, lighting the sticks quickly. "There you go."

Deleted user

“Thanks. You just saved me a good twenty minutes of struggle.” Jasper smiled grateful, preparing the vegetables to put on the flames.

Deleted user

“I appreciate it.” Jasper started to clean the carrots. Damian, who seemed to have decided he wasn’t getting enough attention, moved to the front of the tent.
