When has a lie ever saved someones life?

Of course it has happened. But truthfulness is better except in the unlikely and minor cases that will do something like save a life.

I agree with Dom. In my eyes, things often come down to circumstances.

It is not kind to lie. No matter the circumstance.

Sometimes, doing what's kind isn't what's right.

Agreed. The truth is powerful. Not to mention it will not come back and bite you in the ass as a lie would.

I mean I personally can't pick a favorite person on this site because 1) my favorite people are my two best friends, one of whom is my girlfriend and they're not on here, and 2) I don't know anyone here well enough to decide that, all I know is everyone seems really nice and like interesting people and so it's hard to pick a favorite out of that.
