I was terrified of a guinea pig when I was five… and then that same day I asked if I could touch the pet snek.

I'd be the child who had an opossum hiss at her and just be like "Aww it's like a lil kitty kitty!" but then see an itty bitty spider behind said opossum and run screaming with tears rolling down my face
