"Into the competitive market. Basically, it would be a big business that would rival million dollar corporations. If I'm lucky," she added under her breath.
"Into the competitive market. Basically, it would be a big business that would rival million dollar corporations. If I'm lucky," she added under her breath.
"I think that would be a good idea. What is your business?" He ignored what she added to her sentence, hoping he could change her mind later on.
"Well, there are a lot of different aspects. It's one core company, but it spans into multiple different fields, which is what makes it so great," she said, mentally cursing herself for the woven in compliment. Stop treating this like a pitch meeting!
"That's nice, and the fact that you run this all by yourself while you are still in college makes me feel a bit jealous. But business was never my area of expertise so I'd rather stick to what I know. Although economics is a bit easier for me to understand." He added the last part hoping to see if they could find some similarity between them at least.
"Do you prefer micro or macro?" she asked, looking curious again.
(Now would be the perfect time to tell you I haven't taken financial lit yet…)
"Macro definitely, but I feel like you would prefer the other." He assumed in a questioning tone.
"I like both, honestly," she said, her eyes showing excitement.
"Oh," He answered surprised. "Micro economics wouldn't really apply to me in almost any way but I like keeping up with how things are going on the national level. Later on in life though it may be valuable for me to know more about the other."
She smiled. He was a reasonable thinker. Then why did he take arts classes? Stop it!
Blaze smiled back and took a sip of his drink. "You haven't touched your food, are you not hungry?" He asked noticing her plate.
((hey camie, might be best if we take it to the pms. gettin a little steamy
(Okai!)
Blaze smiled back and took a sip of his drink. "You haven't touched your food, are you not hungry?" He asked noticing her plate.
"I… I'm not as hungry as I thought I was," she said quietly.
"It's fine, are you ready to go back and have fun, we still have more time or we can leave if you want." He said open for her to say yes or no to either.
She shrugged. "Whatever works."
"Ok then." Blaze got up and wiped his hands against each other to get rid of the crumbs before using some of the hand sanitizer nearby. When his hands were dry, he offered one to Bridget so they could try out the foam pit.
She took it slowly and let him lead her. She began to notice the way that his fingers caressed hers, and how he never let go except when they had to eat. At these thoughts, her stomach flipped. You're noticing the details! You're falling in love with him!
"Soo, I decided that we try out the foam pit but if you aren't comfortable with it we can always do something else." He told her before running over to the trampoline to demonstrate. He jumped three times before doing a frontflip into the pit. He climbed out in a remarkable time before going back over to Bridget. "That's basically all there is to it."
Her eyes were wide. "I-I can't do a flip…"
"Don't worry, you can always do cannonballs or just jump in. I'll go in right with you if you want." He offered as an alternative.
"Would you please?" she asked softly, a light blush coating her face.
"Of course." He answered going back up to the trampoline beside where she would go. "You ready?"
She nodded. "On… three?"
"Yup. One, two, three!" He said doing a small cannonball into the foam blocks.
She jumped as well and landed among the squishy foam sea.
Blaze tried to paddle over to her but it was no use, he couldn't move and slowly his sock slipped off into the foam lake. He tried to retrieve it but it had gone to far deep so he abandoned it and headed back over to Bridget.
She tried to move but that was near impossible. Oh my God, I look so stupid…
Blaze saw her struggling and tired to go over to her but the foam suggested that he stayed right where he was. He started laughing at himself before trying again and throwing the blocks out of his way. He finally got over to her and helped pull her out.
She was blushing furiously. "Uh, thank you," she said quietly once they were out.
"No problem." He said, noticing her reddened cheeks and neck.
"Where do you want to go now, I'm all out of ideas and our time is almost up."
